Title: Wish me luck! (We took 8th!)

I'm so psyched - I'm leaving in a few hours to participate in the self-proclaimed "World's Largest Trivia Contest"!  It's a 54 hour trivia contest run over the student radio station (the whole contest is the major fund raiser for the radio station).  I've been playing in it for years and look forward to this every year.  The team is really stoked this year.  We've never won this contest, but we've come close (2nd place in 2008)!  Here's hoping maybe this year will be our year to finally win this silly thing.   ;D

Yippi!!! I found you on here!  Good luck on the trivia fun!  The kids are heading up for the MidWest Fair soon and I couldn't help but think of you!  Keep me posted....can't WAIT to find out the results!

WOW! Good luck, make sure you get plenty of sleep and something to eat ... LOL don't want to hear that growling sound. Hope you win first place this time. I can imagine that you prepared with time.

Skill often triumphs over luck so, may you be more skilled at trivia knowledge than your honored opponents.

Back and mostly recovered from the contest.  Out of 390 teams this year, we took 8th place.  Still in the top 10 which is always our goal, and we had a blast!  They threw an extra curve ball at us by posting 10 extra pictures Saturday night that we had 5 hours to try to identify - we managed to get all 10, so we were happy about that.

Now it's time to analyze our data to find better ways to prepare for next year's contest.  Only 360 days left to go!   ;D
