Your puppy loves you and doesn't know any better. Be kind to him or her and remember having a cute little shadow can be a good thing. To your puppy you are the greatest! My cat does the same thing. :cat: :cat: :cat: See what did I tell you?

Adorable little bugger. ;) I am more than a little leery though. If you actually have to ask why he is following you everywhere, you don't sound like the best person to be taking care of and training an animal. :confused1:

BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS ATTENTION. I had a puppy who was part shepard and half wolf. Followed me every where. Gave it a lot of attention, he grew up being my protector and when the grandson came along i never had to worry about him. Shadow was with him every minute and the illigals that were comming through down by the border gave our place a wide birth.

All is that your puppy. Soemtimes it's just a faze and as they get older they grow out of that.

Your puppy loves you and :dog: thinks you're a neat person to hang around.  :dog:  My mom has a small dog that follows her everywhere.  He's two years old now, but still all puppy at heart.  Like her own portable fan club.

puppy's are like babies they want to be where you are.  They also don't like being alone  thus comes the responsibility of taking care of a puppy.

There are many reasons your puppy follows you.  He wants attention, doesn't want to be alone, wants to play, or just the sense of security that you provide to him.  I am sure there could be other reasons, but just remember he is just a puppy and wants to be number one in your life.

I also have a dog no longer a puppy who follows me if i go outside i have to leave the sliding door out so he can run out and when he sees me coming back he whimpers and is at the door jumping on me soooo happy to see me even though i was only gone to take out the trash lol

He must really like you and he probably has learned that you take care of him and feed him and play with him.

oh how cute IS HE!! i wish i had a dog but i wouldnt have any time to take care of him.

What kind of puppy is it?  I have a shelti and it follows me EVERYWHERE!   :BangHead:
it really depends on the dog.

He likes you!  And possibly looking for any crumbs that may fall.
