Okay here is a tip I heard on tv.
I do not know if it is true...
but I have been trying it out.
Rice Water.
You rince 2 cups of rice with water.
Now this is what I do.
When I cook rice.. I always wash the rice until the water runs clear. So now I just take the first water I rinse and put it into a bowl and set aside.
This rice water.. I pour into a washed peanut butter container.
Then I put it in the refrigerater to store.
What ever way you decide to do this...
All you have to do is this...
Get a wash cloth and dip it in the container till wet enough,
All you do is wash your wash with this rice water.
They say that you do not rinse it.
Leave it on your skin.
Whether or not it fades the age spots that have appeared on my face... :angry7:
I am unsure so far.
I do know this...
My face has NEVER been as soft as it is now.
Seriously it is wonderfuly refreshing!!!
This practice is said to come from Korea.
Please let me know if you have tried this.. and what you discover.
As always.. Happy Earnings!!!

I saw your beauty tip and I tried it today. Your right it does make your face soft. I just hope it helps me with my sun spot I have. I'm keeping up with it and hope it works. ;D

It looks great face wash to me and I will try it out tomorrow. I also try to eat more fruits espacially apples to help skin refresh and it works too. I believe that skin beauty should be inside out way.

I totally agree!!!
I also wash with soy base soap in between the rice water, and lotion with a soy base.
I only have a few age spots.. but they are lightening up :female:
Good luck to you!!!
I love the softness the rice water gives my skin!!

And yes... I agree... feeding the body the healthy foods... working inside out is what I do also.
We eat skinless boneless chicken breast, rice LOTS of veggies, fruit and very little bread products.

Sounds quite interesting and I'll have to give it a try. I love home remedies and tips! Thanks guys. (I'll let you know what I think as soon as I try it.)

I tried this already it works a little but not much. thanks for sharing

Thanks, I will try this. But does it need to be brown rice or can it be any rice (white, bismati?) Maybe I'll try them all

Thanks for the tip... I'll try it one day, but not anytime soon, I'm too busy with other useless things...
-
Can't wait to try this. I'll have to pick up more rice at the grocery store this afternoon.

I've never heard of this. I have, however, repeatedly heard that the acidity in lemon works as a peeler. I have a microdermabrasion cloth that I'm currently uses, it gathers the dark spots and then a couple days later I'm able to peel it off.

I have used the brown rice water. And well my spots have faded.. but sadly have not disappeared...
Truth be told.. I LOVE the way it makes my face feel.
So very soft!!!
Thanks for all the feedback!!
Hope you all have a great weekend!!
