You've been on FC long enough to ask this; why would you post this off topic subject in the "Payments" forum?

something that will put a smile on her face. not flowers cause thats a always gift. see and find out what she likes or watch her and see the favorite thing she does maybe it might help you. :wave:

Here's an idea:
If my Mother was still living I would make her a small quilt with all of the children's pictures on it.
Pictures can be put on fabric squares same as you do on a shirt, then just sew them together like a quilt.
Make sure to include the date in the bottom corner of the quilt.

My mother's best gift is to see my kids, and her birthday is this Friday as well, so we're going to see her and bringing her a favorite cake (ice cream cake- chocolate) with art supplies. Art is how she keeps busy, it's just her "thing", and she'll be happy feeding her grand-kids lots of sugary cake.

Make a scrapbook for her of all the family from day of birth til now and of course include all the grandkids.

??? Well it depends on your mother and her individual preferences and likes. My mom passed away last year but she personally thought flowers to be a waste of money and she didn't like things for the house - she liked clothes or gift certificates where she could go pick out her own gift. We used to kid around that we might as well wrap up money in a box because anything else she would take back - she was just particular about stuff. WOW I really miss :heart: her.

The best gift for me is a great card from my son. One that he picked because of the message in the card. I can't think of anything I would enjoy more from him. Now if he included a day with he and his family that would be an even better gift! Big gifts have never been important to me. It is the gifts of the heart that mean the most and say the most to me. I really enjoy looking back at the cards he made at school or has gotten me over the years. Moms are such big mushes!

I would say let her know you appreciate her because Life is so short and uncertain.

She definately doesn't know yet but since her birthday and mothers day are only two days apart i got her a sapphire pendant (got cash back from it using fusion cash too! LoL)and my brother and i are going to pick her up a cake and some ice cream up tomorrow.
So i think she would love it even though she says she dread's her birthdays! lol :thumbsup:

Some of my favorite things are when my kids try to keep them a "secret". They are young (11, 9 and 6), so they make things for me in school and in their bedrooms at night. But being kids they "leak" details either by whispers that are really loud or leaving a trail of stuff for me to pick up in their rooms.

I went to the local Russell Stover shop today and bought my mom a box of chocolates. I have done that a few times in the past and she seems to enjoy them :)

As a mom...I would say a big hug is the best Mothers' Day gift I could receive. It's the thought that counts...from my point of view.

My sisters and I normally cook our mother breakfast, lunch and dinner, give her a nice thoughtful card, buy her gifts. Her favorite gifts have always been perfume, and kitchenware. At the end of the day she's happy because her three children have taken the time to appreciate her.

Well I am a mom and I wont get to see my kids as they live 2300 miles away and my mother live that far too...I would love to see my mom as I never have money or a car to go that far I miss my kids and my mom and will prob just send my mom a card and hope my kids call me sorry for all you that lost your mom I worry about that all the time my mom was diagnosed with cancer like 4-5 yrs ago and already had one breast removed my husband went to maine about 4 yrs ago and it is too cold for his liking so we wont move there

JUst let them feel that very important to your life and still you needed her especially to older mom. Let her feel that she is loved my the family.

I am giving my mother a gift certificate for a pedicure. It is something she likes, but does not get for herself.

The best mother's day gift would be a day off. Help with cooking, dishes, caring for children. ect.

the most important thing you can give your mom is your love and respect because as i learned quickly time goes by to fast love you mom miss you very much also
