transfer to some other place to work...and you were given the choice, where and why?
** Even if you don't have a typical job you can play along!
-
Back to New England. Even though the snow would get to me after living down South, I'd like to be closer to my family, as well as closer to civilization.
-
I would want to go to New England too to be by my kids and family.....just hate the cold after being in the heat for ten yrs
-
I was offered to relocate to Canada to work, but after considering the weather I had to pass.
-
Not really sure, but for the right amount of money I think almost anywhere would work.

I'd have to think long and hard about that. I've lived in the south all my life except for 4 yrs in California when I was in high school and that state has gotten so liberal don't think I'd want to live there again: but that's just me. lol

I would for the right opportunity and as long as it was a place I found visually attractive. I have been spoiled by living on the West Coast in some of the most beautiful areas I've ever seen. It does make a difference to me in my daily life if I am surrounded by beauty, water, mountains, etc. Places that are too flat, hot, crowded, etc. don't have much attraction for me. Good topic!

As long as I remained near a real beach and good weather I would. I couldn't move anywhere that actually had a harsh winter. I can barely survive Florida winters
-
There are very few places I would be willing to move. Southern California or Hawaii are probably the only places I would agree to.
-
I would like to transfer to Ireland or Scotland.
-
Ireland is a good choice, some very pleasant and friendly people there. I would be happy to move back to Europe again, actually anywhere in Europe. I would actually prefer England, France or Italy, although German is the only language I speak except for English.
-
i would probably go anywhere, as long as it wasn't
rural. but the place i work for will only open stores in
areas that meet certain population criteria, like many
other retail stores, so i wouldn't have to worry about
that anyway...
if they were paying for it, they could send me wherever :P
-
I probably would choose not to relocate.
-
Only if the job was very well paying and advanced my career would I consider uprooting my children to move.
-
Western New york- to be near my mom.
-
If it is an overseas employer and they promise to provide housing, then I can think about it. Safety is also a consideration as well. If the job is back home in the states, it depends how far. If it is too far (over 1+ hrs) to drive back and forth, I might pass up the opportunity. If it is to relocate in another state, the same condition apply too as overseas employment.
-
Right now I'm kinda open. If it was a job in my field and I got to do what I want and was paid a fair amount, I'd probably be fine with it. I'm just starting out though and looking for a job so really anything would be awesome.

I would not relocate to anywhere, i love living in Las Vegas.

Aloha! I would pack up so fast it would take an act of congress to slow me down. I would leap on a plane so fast you would think it was full of hundred dollar bills and I would be surfin' before sundown. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :icon_rr:

To Canada or Hawaii. The people there seem so laid back and happy even in the workplace.

I am not sure I have only lived in two states, I lived in California for 20 years which I was a kid and I have lived in Missouri for 20years but adult years. I like living in the country and not having a bunch of neighbors. But of course I don't like leaving my house or being around people the doctor said I had depression with anxety disrorder. So I guess I would not trasfer besides my son his here and my mother who is very ill so I would stay.
-
  I think it would be like a great adventure, if you really really hated it you cold move back to wherever you wanted. I have lived several different places and have enjoyed them all for different reasons. A time in Colorado, North Carolina, California, Arizona. I would love to have the money where I had homes in several places and could just go to each one when the mood struck! LOL I use to love it when I would have to go for a month or 6 weeks to different areas to do training for our company, you can get a real feel for a place in a month or two.
