Title: do you ever go on craigslist
Post by: bigedshult on May 10, 2012, 05:11:58 pm: I go on craigslist every down and find different things I'm looking for I look for a Bobo for my boat and my son with me help me find one in Salem so we could try get it running and we can all have a good time with him about on with the boat and enjoy the time with the family will wiggle while on the water and go boating my grandson Kyle help me put the motor on on the boat so we can see if it's going to run.

and have had pretty good luck so far. i'm thinking about

Post by: demaina on May 10, 2012, 09:44:47 pm: Never really got into craigslist. My friend has gotten a few good deals from there but I can normally find things elsewhere. Plus I never really liked the fact that there isn't much to the site. It might've changed since the last time I was on there, but that kinda turned me off.

Besides the danger, (like being in a stadium full of strangers, ofCOURSE there is danger, stranger!) craigslist has helped me get jobs, free stuff, and provides me with a place to advertise for my own agenda! bwaaahahahaha.

My daughter got a lot of her baby gear there, stollers, high chairs etc. My other daughter has even got 2 different part times jobs on it. So far no dangerous strangers! LOL

You can save so much money by buying someone else's stuff they no longer want, and the forum of craigslist allows people to communicate this desire easily. Especially when you're in the car search, craigslist comes in real handy!!! :thumbsup:

She was blaming comcast for it. We found a $20 t.v. just 2 miles away from her home - picked it up had it all hooked up by the time she received her new receiver from comcast she just had to plug it in and boom - she was good to go. I've gotten a few things off of there. Some things were even FREE.

He buys and sells things on craigslist every now and then he found some boat motors for our boat that we hope they will work. I don't know how to work on bulk orders so I found a guy that will work on for me but he's been so busy I have them get him into him. See if they will work

i like Craigslist, finds a lot of great stuff and post items that i want to sell

I keep getting emails about my account being suspended becaue of "misbehavior". I wrote them back and told them that it was a big waste of time and to delelte my account and still for a year later I got them. I had to delete my email account and make another! How frustrating.

Post by: PGS28 on June 02, 2012, 05:29:11 am: Almost every vehicle I've ever owned has been purchased from an ad placed by someone (either owner or car dealership rep) on Craigslist and now that I am in the process of relocating out of state I am searching for homes online via several different sites, one of which being Craigslist. You have to be careful of scammers, but overall it's a pretty good resource. Oh! and I love their free section lol

I have only bought 2 things from craigslist though--my car, my wife's car! I have also found a couple side gigs for easy cash on there, and my wife applied for some jobs and got one at a bank that she first applied for based on a craigslist ad. I guess it's obvious--i kinda like craigslist :BangHead:

Then all the scammers and criminals started using it. If I"m looking for something the first place I go to is freecycle, I get great stuff on there and it's free Plus I can give others things I don't want but don't want to throw away. Especially where I am there are a ton of scammers on Craigslist doing the phony house rental or house sales. But I do have friends who still use it and like it.
