I think people play games to meat other people.
THERE is such a variety of games and more are being invented all the time.
Some games have been around for a long time.
Scrabble
Mah Jong
Mexican Train
Pinochle
Bridge
Rook
Poker
Canasta
Hand And Foot
Gin
Rummy

Have you heard of Club penguin? I used to play that as a little kid. Its a virtual world of penguins. Good times. Probably not an adult game though :)

I like to play hearts and spades online. It helps pass the time and I like to win. :thumbsup:

i used to play runescape.. well i still do but the updates are going out of control, although it is too addicting to quit, good times

I like to play games with competitors, but if I'm really looking to challenge myself I'll try to knock off the best of the best... How do I do that? Solitaire!

I love Mah Jong. I have had that loaded on my laptop for years. I still play it a lot!

Very true. I used to like playing Neopets a lot as a kid, and met a few friends through the site. And when I started college, one of my suitemates brought a game called "Apples to Apples", and we all bonded while playing it. I feel like games are a good way to break the ice of meeting new people by giving them something to do together.

Also games that have been around along time is war. My grandma taught me a card game that u play with three decks of cards super fun
