You must be working where I do  ;D The first quarter always is slow for us, but then orders start building up in 2nd quarter. By 3rd quarter we're going gang-busters until around November. Then (because a lot of our customers are retail) they are too busy for any changes in their environment during the holiday shopping season, so our orders start dropping off until after the new year, and the cycle starts again. I guess my preference is to be busy than to have no work; at least when you're busy, time flies (sometimes oftentimes too fast). However the last couple of years I've got a project that is on the back burner which I can work on when things get slow, so I'm always having something to do, even if our department doesn't have any orders pending.
