I purchase quite a bit online. Although I generally do not buy breakable items, my experiences have all been good.

Over the years I have purchased many items on line but I only do it with sites that allow me to return and ship the items for free.
sometimes i order online at target or walmart  but pickit up in store so if there is a problem I can return it at the store  :peace:

I've bought lots of things online.  I have received a few items broken, not working etc., but have never had a problem returning them.  Just make sure you are buying from a reputable seller.

I have to say that I don't ever remember a time being ripped off buying something online. Yikes!

I mostly shop at Amazon and Walmart, and have pretty good luck there.

With Amazon, the items they ship always arrive in perfect condition. The only problem I've ever had with broken items have been when I've purchased from an Amazon Marketplace seller. But the returns process was pretty painless.

I had one order from WalMart that arrived in horrible condition, because the distribution center didn't put any padding inside the box at all. WalMart refunded my money and replaced all the dented items free.

I've bought a few things online in the last few years but only because our youngest daughter insists its always been safe for her.  I've purchased mostly Christmas gifts online that were not available in our local Walmart store.  Now our youngest is getting married in Sept. and this weekend I will be making a lot of online purchases because she has found websites where particular items for decorating are much cheaper.  Wish me luck!  lol

I do a lot of shopping online...especially for harder to find items since there are few stores in my area to choose from.  we have also learned that many of the items carried by walmart are somewhat cheaper if you order online than what you pay for the same items in the stores.....for example...we just bought a saltwater system for our swimming pool...it was almost $40 cheaper online than they had it priced in the store...and 97 cent shipping....couldn't beat that!!

I buy many things, especially from eBay.  I've had some clothing misfits and have learned that even if the dimensions are stated, it still might not fit.  Other than that, I once bought an older-type PC that I needed for work and it came without a DVD drive in it.  It was still worth what I paid for it.

I buy some online. But there a lot of things i would rather buy in person, such as lotion and perfumes. Some of it is so strong it takes my breath away, clothes i would rather try on. But what i do buy i have had no comlaints. Also buy a lot of gifts on line. that way i don't have to pay shipping twice. Just send it to them. No standing in line at the post office.

I buy online throughout the year, but when I really appreciate being able to shop online is during the holiday season.  Boy--does the internet take the pain out of holiday shopping for me!  Sweet deals, low or free shipping, lots of variety.  I've never had a bad internet shopping experience, and have the best experiences from Amazon, WalMart, Thriftbooks.com and JoAnn Stores.

I buy eeeeverything I can online!  Even toilet paper.  You can always find it cheaper than you can in the stores, you don't have to use gas AND it gets dropped off at your doorstep!  What more could a girl ask for??  ;D

Buying things online always makes me a little edgy- I'm never sure just what quality of product will show up in the mail, and I much rather prefer to be able to actually see in person just what it is I'm buying. I have recently become a big fan of online yard sales, however, and I do like those, because they allow me to meet with the seller and examine the product before actually purchasing.

I never heard of online yard sales but I do buy things online, mostly thru EBay and I haven't had any problems.

I am a little hesitant entering my information now, since I got charged 100 and then another 25 for a page that clicked on real fast, and I thought I was still doing the same thing, but it was different, you got to be super careful in who you are dealing with.

I usually make all my online purchases through PayPal.
Let them handle any issues in regards to failure to deliver and me getting my back money.
Also make purchases from reputable sources or within your country, that'll help with ease of shipping or refunding.

I, too, have bought quite a few things online over the years.  I started with buying books for college years ago and have progressed from there.  When it comes to things that are breakable or items that might needs returning I am careful about checking return and refund policies.  Also, for the safety of my transaction I make sure I am dealing with a reputable company.  For the most part my transactions have gone well.  I did have a difficult transaction with a printer ink company that took months to resolve because the print cartridges they sent were either leaking or half empty.  Fortunately, I was able to resolve it.  Good luck!

I purchase things like electronics and computer parts from online companies such as newegg and tigerdirect.  I have never had any problems dealing with them and I know that in the case of newegg they will actually intervene on your part if you have difficulties with warranties or rebates or such in the rare event such things arise.

Yes, I buy a variety of things online and have been doing so for sometime. I always try to buy from reputable companies. There have been things that I have recieved that were broken, but I have had no problem getting it corrected or refunded. I have also bought stuff that I have been taken on and there again I have had some refunded but not all. I enjoy shopping online from the privacy of my home, because I don't have to worry about spending a long time in the checkout lane.

I buy alot online and have not experienced a problem so far except occasional delays in shipping.   Often if the local store is out of stock, I order online and have it shipped for pickup at that store, thus no shipping charges.

I've bought things online here and there.  A recent move though is going to force me to start making more online purchases for our household.  It's going to be more cost efficient for me to make purchases online rather drive to the store.  Gas prices are insane.  Sites like Wal-greens and Alice.com are making it practical and less time consuming as well.  I know the mail lady isn't going to be happy with all the packages coming to our house...gonna ad more work to her load I'm sure.  But for our family shopping online is definitely the way to go.

I used to be a little nervous about buying things online, but I've had great experiences and it sure beats having to go to a physical store in town every time I want to buy something, especially with gas prices being so steep.

As long as you buy from a reputable company (i.e. Amazon or another retailer) or from a highly rated ebay seller, etc., you should be fine.  I have purchased computers, cell phones, tablets, and mp3 players online and have had good experiences every time.  The only negative experience I had was with a company called Wirefly, but that is because they didn't send one of the phones and it took an extra few weeks to get it straightened out.

Yea, I buy mostly all of my clothes and CDs online. The clothes I buy usually fit well. I haven't really had any problems except for a cracked CD case that I got from Borders Bookstore. :/

I try not to buy very much online! I have had bad luck in the past on CC Fraud. The only way it was was through the Internet. I try to buy as much as I can in Brick and Mortor outlets but, sometimes I have to order certain things online. I am very restrictive of what I order online though!!

I buy online quite a bit. Books, shoes, cloths, gagets, etc..it is scary. Always keep your confirmation or order number until you receive your order. Make sure you know who the shipping company is and try and get a tracking number. I also save all e-mails until my order is complete. And get phone numbers. Most companies will work with you. They want you to get your order. It's bad for their online business if you don't.

I buy most of my grandsons gifts on line. That way my son can help me pick them out and it saves a trip to the post office. I buy myself something every now and then.

I buy things online all the time. Even when I pay to much for something and find a better deal afterwords I still feel fine with it. I always feel ripped off when I buy things from a store for one reason or another.

I tend to do my online shopping at the big companys. If I want to buy an item elsewhere online I do a little research on the store by searching their name  in the search engine, look at reviews etc... Then I take the plunge if it has a good history. You have to be careful but at least there are easy ways to research before you make a decision and look up return policies for any product you purchase. It may come in handy.
