??? I know there are a lot of scented candles on the market BUT they burn for an hour then there is very little or NO smell after that. I want a candle that smells sweet and spicy from the beginning to the end.
I have tried store brands but for know GLADE is the top candle.

try some yankee candles

The best candle I ever gotten was a Gold Canyon candle. They have the best scents and last a very long time. They can be pretty expensive, but for what you get, I think the price is ok. Also have you tried the Scensies. They are not a candle, but they use scented wax that is melted using a small wattage of lite bulb. You can find the generic brand of this at most Wal Mart stores. They are good with the scents that last a long time, plus you don't have to worry about a flame.

yankee thats the best

I am a big fan of Yankee candles, but I have found that if you don't keep the glass top that the smell will not last as well.
Also there are certain smells from Wal-Mart, their brand, that are fantasic. Usually you can get a pack with different sizes for $10. It's cheap just candles and I was very impressed with how strong the smell was even a month after the initial burn.

I used to work for Bath and Body Works and their candles were really nice and lasted pretty long. always checl with them because they have sales on the large 3 wick ones and they last a long time

I like PartyLite because they last a long time and burn completely and evenly and have lots of different scents. You can probably go to their website and find a local representative. If you don't mind having parties you could probably earn them free. If you don't like hosting then I am sure a rep would be glad to sell the product anyway.

Although they cost a little more I know partylite candles are long lasting and the scent smells during the entire burn time. Yankee is a good band too. There are some smaller stores that carry yankee that offer clubs..ie: candle of the month and so forth. The Yankee website offers deals regularly that come through e-mail but then you get slammed with shipping and handling costs. You can always make your own...that way you come up with a wax and scent formula that meets your needs the entire burn time.

i have used many over the years and there is 2 that smell good till the bottom of the jar and they are yankee candles and the glade oil candles and i also used a oil burner that you can get scented oils at walmart or any flea market store

I've used Yankee candles before and numerous other brands. I like Yankees. Glade is nice too. My sister bought a Febreeze brand holiday scented candle last December and it was really great. It was a pine scented one, I loved it! The scent was strong enough and lasted a long time.

if you're worried about the price of yankee candles
(i never buy them at the store or regular price)... tj maxx,
marshalls, and burlington coat factory all sell yankee candles
from $5.99 - $9.99. it's WORTH it! the large ones last
for a few months if you burn them every other day for a few
hours, and they smell up the whole house.
i also like the bath &body works wallflowers, but definitely
go on their website and read the reviews for some of the scents.
some are MUCH weaker than others and aren't worth it.
i have ''marshmallow fireside'' plugged in right now, and it's by
far the strongest, long-lasting scent i've found at BBW.

I was just going to mention Glade, but you already mentioned it! What about Bath & Body Works Candles? I have never used them, but maybe they work.
-
well if u get the soy wax then they last for a long time.
-
The ones from Michael's (I get the pumpkin pie) are the ones I find to work the best.
-
yeah yankee candles are good!

BBW candles are great! they also have a very friendly
return policy -- if the candle doesn't burn evenly (like the wicks
drown, or the wax doesn't pool correctly) or even if you don't
like the smell, you can bring it back and exchange it, no questions
asked. that's awesome, considering they are pretty expensive.
i never buy them at regular price though, only when they go
on sale 2 for $20, and THEN i use the $10 off $30 purchase
coupon on top of that. i leave the store with 2 candles
and 4 wallflowers for $20... they last me about 6 months :)
sign up on their website for email coupons and you'll start
getting them. you also get a $10 off $30 on the bottom of most
of your receipts from there and the best part is, they don't expire!

At the bed and bath store my favorite is the apple scent.
