Title: Do you still like MySpace?
Post by: mildreddavis1 on June 23, 2012, 04:50:29 am: ??? ::) Funny how one social network can be the HOTTEST and COOLEST then all of a sudden it drops to "I DO NOT USE THAT SITE ANYMORE" status. I still use MySpace but also use Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIN.

I do not think I like one more than the other because they are all very different in their own way.

I do still have a myyearbook / meetme account. Hardly been used, but not frozen yet so I guess it counts.
Facebook I still use occasionally, mainly to goof off on games. My sister also likes to post pictures, but she lives down the road so I can see and talk to her daily in person if I wanted to lol So not really much socializing even on the family front online.
And I recently got a Tumblr, for browsing and archiving purposes. Got an old mostly unused Livejournal for the same reason.

And that's it other than email. I'm just not that big on being social online I guess lol None of my accounts are used for much at all.

Post by: LaTashaS28 on June 23, 2012, 08:29:52 pm: No because I never be on it anymore, but I still have a page there...just have not had the time to delete it. I just lost interest in it a long time ago, it has gotten boring since it is not popular anymore and no one speaks about it.

I have to give it some credit though, it had things that facebook never got. Also, I met my fiance through MySpace so it will always have a special place in my heart.

Post by: sdecaro558 on June 24, 2012, 07:50:19 am: I never had a myspace to begin with. I never saw the appeal when it first came out and was popular and never bothered to make one. I didn't bother with Facebook for a long time either, and I still don't bother with Google+ or Twitter.

I only really use Twitter for this online money stuff (where you can make money Tweeting). I joined Google+ strictly for using the Hangout feature - as you can conference for free there where Skype you need to pay for conferencing...

This post reminds me of the MeetMe network video that's been playing on some sites. Anyone see that one? So hilarious - (MeetMe guy): "What's wrong with him?" (bartender) "I think he's dead..." (Twitter crew) "MySpace is dead...Hashtag...Going for a sandwich...Retweet." The Twitter crew in that ad crack me up!

She said no one she knows uses it either. They are all on facebook or myyearbook. There was one other social network she gets on too, chattango. I have never heard of it except for her using it.

I finally deleted my profile about a year ago because I hadn't used it in a few years and it is one less site I have to make sure my employer doesn't see :D

Post by: frozenimage on June 28, 2012, 01:09:17 am: I didn't get the hang of myspace. I think the usage declined because the site kept changing some stuff around when it was still good as it is. Also, profile stalking is not possible, which might have brought the downfall of the site.

I was never very active on it anyway and I find facebook keeps me better up to date on what everyone is up to. As far as I know, no one I know uses myspace anymore.
