Title: More Payment options
Post by: tbruff13 on June 27, 2012, 04:16:56 pm
This post is very straight forward and to the point. I would like to see more payment options put on Fusioncash. I understand that every payment option you add adds (double add is actually correct) overhead, but I would like to see you guys add Google Wallet and Amazon Payments to the list of accepted payment methods. I would be very easy to add amazon just haqve someone cashout with a link to use their fusioncash money to buy an Amazon 25 dollar gift card. The fact that amazon gives referral bonuses means that every person that cashesout with the Fusioncash Amazon link would generate extra money that would offset the cost of this payment method.

That's a good idea, unfortunately, I have never once heard any kind of response from the supposed 'support' here on FC. I sometimes doubt 'they' even read these posts.

Well I understand this, but this is a money making option for Fusioncash. Amazon gives out referral links. If Fusioncash were to get one and give us the option to cash out with Amazon. They would be losing 25 dollars yes, but that cost would be downsized by the fact that Amazon would pay them for each gift purchased through their link.

I think the payment options are good as it is. direct deposit or paypal will store your money either way. You could also link a card to these accounts.

I do not have a problem with the payment options that are available now, but if fusion cash were to add more I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I think the payment options are awesome already on Fusioncash!  But that is just my opinion....everybody is entitled to one!   :dontknow:

I think some people might put a bad spin on it if it looked like FC was trying to get a "kickback" when people cash out. Some might be concerned that they would ultimately try to push everything that direction.

I can assure you that FC staff does indeed read many of these posts and they've 12 of my support tickets promptly over a two-year timeframe of submitting them.

In this particular instance, you guys are suggesting a payment method change which would be more likely to be *seen* in the Fc Suggestion forum, (just as a suggestion).

I'm surprised they have the options they do (that sentence doesn't seem right to me. Anyway...). On other sites like this I'm forced to sign up for some strange ewallet I've never heard of. I think what they have is sufficient for most, so I don't see them adding anything new if they don't have to.

So, you're saying that asking to be paid in bearer bonds is unlikely to be likely?

That in fact, was specifically on my mind when I saw the title to this thread.

Awhile back, someone suggested that the first FC member to reach the platinum level of posting receive a one-ounce bar of platinum.  For some reason, the FC staff didn't follow-up on that idea.

I've seen other sites that don't offer cash and only the gift rewards. I think it would be a great addition. I personally would just cash out the cash. But it would be nice to know I had an option to get a gift card.

i think the payment options on here are good enough.  i don't see a point in adding more.  what good will that do?

I think the options are good as they are right now. I know that other websites like this charge you to sent a check, so the fact that fusion cash is not charging is great.

I am not saying that they should try to recieve a kickback on cashouts, but if you look at another post it does say that cashing out via paypal and a check costs Fusioncash money. If they were able to use amazon gift cards or ebay then they could use those sites referral funds to help keep check cashouts free. I am not saying they should take anything away just add something that could help sure up their revenue source. This "Kickback" could be used to continue funding the many bonuses we get here at Fusioncash like the $1 picture of your payment perk.

I will do more research into this and then I will see if I can open up a ticket suggesting this idea if I find it will help Fusioncash stay afloat.

Cashouts via Amazon giftcodes may be possible in the next year or so.  We can't do them now because of technical limitations on their end, but it should be resolved sooner or later.
As for other payment methods, every one that I've examined is open to abuse/impossible to trace and thus unsuitable for us.

Unless you an engineer for Amazon's giftcard API, I don't think there's much you (or we) can do, except wait for them to upgrade (we need to be able to lock down redemption to a particular email address, and they do not support this functionality yet).

I like the pay options like they are.  I am more likely to cashout with a gift card when cash in hand IE paypal/direct deposit) is more helpful to me.  If I need to pay my water bill an Amazon card is not at all helpful.

I agree, whatever helps the company keep going helps us keep going.. I never seen a $1. bonus pic. though. Where do I find it?

When you get your first payment you can post a pic or screen shot of it in this part of the forum - http://www.fusioncash.net/forum.php?topic=6.0 It can take 2-6 weeks for you to receive this credit. You can also find it pretty easily under Contests and Promotions in the forum as well.

I hear ya, we all need the money instead of a giftcard from amazon. I know my kids would like the giftcards so that I can get them what they want, but I think paying my bills comes first. This forum is a great way to boost your earnings.

I really want Amazon payments because I buy most of my stuff on Amazon. :( Hopefully they can consider this.
