Title: Do you still clip and use coupons?
Post by: mildreddavis1 on June 30, 2012, 06:27:54 am
??? I remember when SUNDAY PAPER was fun to read and clipping coupons was fun to do. When I go to the grocery store now, I do not see people using coupons. I see people looking for items that are already on sale.

I guess the coupon clipping era has past! What do you think?

Yes I still clip and use coupons. I like to save money. The retail
stores are not liking it at all and now most coupons you have
to buy two or more items and that makes it harder to save money.
So I wait for the sale and then use them otherwise some of my coupons
I clip expire because of having to buy more than 1 item. I don't buy the paper
to get them I print most of them from the internet.

I still use coupons sometimes. Mostly print them though. I also like the sites where you can link the coupons to your club cards.

I use coupons as much as I can.  The laundromat I used to frequent would save them for me from the Sunday paper.  Now though it seems rather costly to either purchase the paper or use ink up to print them.  I like utilizing the saving star website.  Circular ad's seem to help too.

Sometimes.  I did have a neat experience yesterday when I got an oil change.  When I asked the cashier if there were any coupons available, she told me to go to their website on my smartphone.  Once I got to the coupon page, she used a scanner and got the coupon for me off the phone.  Saved $5 for no effort at all.  Prtetty cool.

I use coupons all the time. I love getting stuff for cheap/free. When you use the store sale plus coupons you can really get a great deal. Also I look for coupon match up sites on the internet.

I still use coupons when I find them.  Our local paper has quit putting coupons in it.  The Nashville Sunday paper cost so much it does not pay to get it just for the coupons.  I wish our local paper would start putting them back in on Sunday.  You can save alot of money when you use them.

I clip them, but I'm not too good at using them. Either they expire before I get the chance to, or I forget all about them!

I print coupons online and display codes on my smartphone more frequently nowadays, but my Sunday paper still comes with a number of coupons, so I still take advantage of this and catalog for my future use.

No, I don't use them anymore. There are no coupons for anything that I actually want to buy.

We use coupons for my husband's cigarettes and a few other things but mostly just go with what's on sale each week at the local grocery stores.

I actually use them more than I used to.  I do lot of internet coupons.  Safeway started recently letting you load them onto your club card.  Love that.

Oh no! I match the sales with the coupons and get the lowest price I can. I want to save as much money as possible.

I do clip and use only the coupons for something I generally get. I do not like the ones, though, where you have to purchase two or three of the item before the discount is applied.
