I saw a couple of other posts that suggested people were paying a FEE to cash their Fusioncash Checks, or for depositing it in an account. Does it cost you anything to get your money?
I can't imagine coming here every day to make a few cents and then giving away a few bucks of it just to get your money.
How Crazy Is That?

I don't know yet! I haven't cashed out.
-
If they're using a check cashing place, then they pay a fee. But I don't know why anyone would want to do that! It doesn't make sense to use a cash cashing place when there's other options that are FREE: Direct Deposit, Paypal, or going to your bank or credit union.
-

Well Don't Pay Anyone When You Do!

Exactly! I would love to have someone explain why they would give away money even if they did get it free?

Hang in there! It doesn't take very long even if you just do free stuff :)
-
Its sad that "businesses" would dare to charge people to just cash a dang check. Go to your bank, if you don't have an account, many banks have free or near free savings accounts, allowing you to cash a check... :bs:
-
I totally agree, we are here for free $ so spending $ to cash the checks defeats our purpose.
I haven't cashed my first cashout yet, but I will be happy when I do.
-
I've had no problem cashing my checks. I just take them to my local bank where I have an acct, no questions asked, in and out in 30 seconds :)

Have you never cashed out at a GPT site before?
-
use paypal
-
Paypal all day any day. Or at the least, use direct deposit, because most people will end up depositing the check anyways.
-
Well first of all those check cashing place only take $1.00. So right now I have $54.19 n when I go to those check cashing place I will get $53.19. 1 dollar is not alot so ya.
-
Some check cashing places take a percentage of the check, not just $1.00. How else would they make money, since that is what they're in business for. I would make sure I had a paypal account, and not worry about having to pay a fee. Yes, it takes a little more time to get your paypal if you don't have a bank account, but it's well worth it.

It may not be a lot to you, but I had to read 50 daily emails and click the link, then type in the answer to the question and leave it open for 60 seconds. I'm not giving that away when it's totally unnecessary.
-
agreed
-
The way I look at it. Is if you paid the money you did not earn it. So subtract everything you paid to earn your pennies and that is what you got. Its taking me a long time to complete my offers now since my computer was stolen and having to use the library which more than half the time block me getting on here.
surveys are to long then they say you dont qualify after a half hour of entering data so cant do them anymore. Anyone got any offers that were easy lately?

Paypal only for me !

I don't have any problems cashing mine at the bank, in fact a couple of the girls are starting to get really interested in Fusion Cash. This time when i went in the first thing said was how much did you make this time. So am crossing my fingers that they will get signed up.

It would be nice if our referral link was noted on the check!

So get a rubber stamp made, then you can stamp it on the bills you pay too.
-
I always go the bank that it is drawn on and have never been charged anything to cash it.
-
Sorry to say it, but I agree with the fact that if some of my FC money was a penny from a DQ'd survey or fifteen cents from a PTC, then a dollar was a dollar I worked for. I have not yet cashed out, and have only been a member a little over a month, but when I get paid, shouldn't that be my earnings for my time?

To have $11 and be a member for only a month, you have a great start. Enjoy your upcoming cashout.
-
Wow, I refuse to spend money to make money, especially in small amounts! I don't know why anyone would pay to have their Fusion Cash checks cashed, I want to keep every cent that I earn!! :dontknow:
-
There is no charge if you have a paypal account and let them deposit your money into that for you. You might want to try that if it works for you. I know it works for me.
-
I use paypal on here but I do receive checks from a few other sites. I either cash checks at my bank or just deposit them into my checking account. If I worked for the money then I want all of it
-
I think most banks charge a fee to cash a check if you do not have an account with that financial institution and of course a check cashing place is going to charge a fee... that is how they make their money. The best bet is do open a paypal account.. they are free.
-
You can also apply for a prepaid PayPal card. Or a GreenDot card. I'm pretty sure if you apply for the Green Dot through FC, you will get 50 cents or so also.
You can have your FC earnings direct deposited into a prepaid card, at no fee. Just like a bank. Just make sure the card you apply for doesn't have a bunch of hidden fees. I know the PayPal one doesn't, for sure.
-
That is crazy for anyone to pay to cash their FC cashout check! I've had mine direct deposited into my credit union checking account. This month, I'm trying PayPal deposit for the first time.
-
paypal or direct deposit for me , i'm personally not a fan of check cashing places :dontknow:
-
yeah, I don't like checks either.
-
yeah, I don't like checks either.
Well then send me all the ones you get and I'll be glad to cash them.

I MAE MONEY ON HERE CAN MAKE ALOT OF CASH ON HERE ALSO

not really....it does cost money to cash checks...but it's also free to cash them too
-
Always direct deposit that baby into my free checking and saving account :)

No I never have
-
I did not have to pay when i cashed my first check. But i did i have an account in the bank where i cashed it.
-
It's great!
-
??? Yes, paypal all the way. It takes me a few days to get it moved over to my checking but I still rather use pay pal. I could do direct deposit - I have given that some thought but I would hate using any method where I got charged to cash something. I'm just not much for writing checks or receiving them if I have a choice....well, best of luck to all of you regardless of how you get your $$$$$$$$$$$$
-
The answer here is actually quite simple. Some people are unable to open a bank account - if you, say, overdraw your account and then abandon it, they will mark your SS# in the ChexSystems database. Then, you wont be able to open an account anywhere.
If you're in that boat, you can't verify your PayPal account since you don't have a bank account to link to, so that method is out.
Direct Deposit is out for obvious reasons.
That just leaves a check. Now, if you live in the Western US, you might be able to find a local Bank of the West branch, where you can get your check cashed for free. But if not, you really don't have a choice except to use a check cashing service or pay a bank to cash the check.
The only other real alternative is a prepaid debit card, which people who are listed in ChexSystems can still get. But the load-able ones typically have one or more fees associated with them. Thus, once again, if you don't have a bank account you are stuck paying fees to get your FC money.
According to the FDIC (http://www.fdic.gov/householdsurvey/),
An estimated 7.7 percent of U.S. households, approximately 9 million, are unbanked. These households do not have a checking or a savings account.
So... there you have it.
-
There are definitely other options out there. Look before you pay!!
-
Lots of people don't have a checking or saving, so they have no option but to use a check cashing place and paying a fee because they don't want to use PayPal. I have a savings and PayPal.
-
Totally agree with some of the comments made by oldbuddy. We do time consuming tasks on here for pennies that add up to dollars. Why pay even $1 of that to get a check cashed unless you do not have a bank account at all where you could opt for direct deposit, or sign up for paypal.
-
Why pay any kind of fee to get your own money? That makes no sense to me. Paypal is definitely the best way to receive your Fusioncash payments.
-
No, its all free in both manners.
-

I totally agree with you old buddy and I wouldn't want to give a cent of money earned on here away much less $1.00 or more. I even find myself being more careful with pennies when getting change at places because I realize from being on here how each cent can add up and become something more. So instead of walking past a couple pennies on the ground you better stop and pick those pennies up because that's like walking away from a daily email!! ;D
-
I didn't realize that there were some people who might take their checks somewhere that they would be charged to cash it. But maybe these people don't have bank accounts of their own. I prefer paypal anyway.. but when I do get paper checks, I take them to my bank, which doesn't charge because obviously I'm a member.
-
Join PayPal. it's free and you can always buy what you need online. I added my savings account to my PayPal and then I got a Debit card so now I can go anywhere that Mastercard is accepted. Way better than a check any day.
-
I don't pay anything! I use paypal and it doesn't cost anything!
-
That is kinda crazy to pay to have the check cashed but even if you send it to your paypal acount and have them send a check you have to pay like two dollars for them to cut you a check I believe. Then you still have a check you need cashed. Hope this helps people who haven't cashed out yet. If you don't intend on shopping online with the money don't have it sent to paypal!!!! 8) :peace:
-
The only time I would pay to have my check cashed is if I needed the money instantly and couldn't find another way. Other than that, I will wait. I am actually half vacationing and half working right now and have a few paychecks that will go uncashed for a week until I can get back home and cash at my bank. I've always been the crazy person that picks up pennies or any type of coin I can find, so the idea of losing some money without a good reason just bugs me.
-
how much do you guys typically make in a month. just curious
-

Anywhere from $25 to over $300
-
My advice is to open a bank account in the least. Paying to have a check cashed is a waste of money. No matter how small the amount. I know that the reasong some people do not have a bank account is that they are not in good standing with the bank and probably could not get an account even if they tried. Many people owe banks large amounts of money for over drafts and such and the bank will not offer them services. Then they run your social at other banks and they won't offer service based on what happened at other banks. We should all strive to get our finances in order and stop wasting money. Just a thought.
-
yeah people are saying they have to pay to cash their check
-
I have direct deposit but if you don't have a bank account, you should open one. Savings accounts usually have a fee unless you keep a certain amount of money in them so just open a checking account which a lot of times is free then either cash your check at the bank or get direct deposit. Or use paypal
-
i have a personal bank account, so i dont have to ay a fee to get my cash, but i do know that banks will charge up to $10 if you dont have an account with them. banks are already rich, yet they still want some more of peoples hard earned money :BangHead: :crybaby2:
-
that would be ridiculous! >:(
-
Totally agree that one shouldn't hav to pay to cash a check .... I understand that these places charge for the service but why would one use them if other free options are available :dontknow:
-
About five years ago one of the local banks in my town messed up my account, my brothers' and my parents'. Don't ask me how a bank could not go by the ACCOUNT number and just go by the last name :dontknow: They took payments out of my parents and deposits in my brothers' that was for me. It was crazy, and I noticed it because mine was overdrawn by oh fifteen bucks, then the bank charges thirty and it was roughly four days before I found out so there was a $5 fee for every day. Eventually the situation was straightened out and apologies to us etc. We all took our money elsewhere and the bank didn't last another year.

I'm still trying the fusion cash and I would be more active in the survey if the pay was a little better. The money I think is in evaluation of a product.

I intend to cash out with PayPal, that's free I understand, not sure as I haven't yet tried to cash out. I did belong to another site for awhile and their cash out limit was $30 and when I went to cash out I found out that they only pay by check and they charge a fee of $3 to do so, and not only that, they don't send their checks for two months after you cash out. And.... they only send the checks if you stay an active member for the whole time till they send the check! BOY WAS THAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I will be closing that account as soon as I get my check in the mail sometime at the end of Sept. Hopefully my bank will cash it...?? Live and learn, huh?

I think I know what site your speaking of, just cashed out on there for the first time and was suprised about the $3 they take out, we work for that money, this site and others don't so why do they? Its ridiculous, so I'm waiting until Sept to get my check from there so will see. And why do you have to wait so long to receive your 1st check there, also ridiculous. Thats why I love FC, I've never had a prob here with anything, get my checks within 4 days and never have a prob cashing them.
-
paypal charges a $1.50 to send you a check no matter what the amount they do direct deposit for free thats it
