utah wont be doing alot of fireworks to many fires

I'll stay extra safe and just enjoy the town's fireworks instead of having our own. I've heard that dogs get scared from the loud fireworks and run away, so be sure to keep your pets safe as well. :dog:

I can't light any fireworks this year as we are under a fire ban. :( Very dry season.

It is so dry here in middle Tennessee that I don't know if they will have fireworks tomorrow night or not. There was rain all around us yesterday but we did not get any here. I hope we get rain soon, everyone thing has dried up and the farmers are hurting here. May God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I live in Illinois. It's illegal to light the firworks that I hear outside like m 80's and rockets.

I wish more people had your mentality. I see so many kids running around lighting things in my area and I kinda wanna take the parents and shake them. I understand wanting to do something with the kid, but guide them on how to light it if you're going to do that, don't just say "light it" and watch.

No fireworks in southern Illinois this year.
All have been cancelled due to dry weather.

I'm always amazed b/c all major cities and many small towns have their own displays, so why people still go out and do their own I don't understand. It doesn't mean you're able to do anything more than light a fuse and every single year the 5th of July is full of stories of folks who screwed up doing that. It's sad when kids get hurt b/c they should be protected by adults that know better. I used to live in FL and there were fools that would shoot guns into the air, as if bullets going up never came down. the next day there'd be stories of folks injured by this as well

Due to the fires in my state, fireworks are banned- even sparklers. I really don't mind because they cost a lot and even sparklers are known for causing injuries. I enjoy a really good fireworks show put on by the cities. After that, everything else that is usually legal where I live is anticlimactic.
