Title: How do you motivate yourself to lose weight?

:P I've tried buy cute shorts that are small for me as motivation,
and it doesn't work for me.

Then i started looking at pictures of fit/thin girls. Or my celebrity crushes.

I find that works a little better.


What do you do?

I've lost 17 lbs since march 14 and still have another 13 to go b/c I changed my goal from 20 lbs to 30 lbs.  I had to change my mindset when it comes to eatting and exercise.  It boils down to do I want to be fit and able to go up a flight of stairs without hyperventilating or do I want this double bacon cheeseburger with extra mayo?  All choices you make influence your outcome, so if you have a cup of yogurt instead of a candy bar you have done your body a service.  I've found that calories from unhealthy foods are harder to digest and burn off.  I hit a plateau and had to give my body a break but now it's time to start on the journey again.  I wish you luck!!!

Somebody once told me that if you want to bring your weight down you have to stop eating after 6pm.(fruits accepted)Try that and good luck!

the lady i work for compared her body to mine. she's about 46 years old and im pregnant. im not showing yet but she thinks shes fat. older women carry fat for years. it's hard for them to get rid of it having such busy lives. u do have to exercise more. u might be at a wall.

I've been taking monthly progress pictures in a bikini. It's motivating to see my body continuously changing and getting to where I want it to be

I exercise and loose generally about 10 pounds a month. I have been watching what I eat being a diabetic.

I think about my goal! And my trainer, trainers are hard on you, but its totally worth it in the end!! I usually think of the way people talk to me and that motivates me, if I was skinnier than they would actually say hello.

not eating after 5 or 6 pm drinking lots of water and walking works well for me

I like to a picture on frig of when I was small and I see it everytime I open the frig.  sometime it works and sometimes it don't.  I have a hard time not eating.  May God bless each of you and keep you safe.
