I was just wondering if anyone knows a way someone can make extra money besides surveys. I am unemployed and am having a hard time fnding a job. The surveys are great, but it just isn't enough. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are a lot of Temp agencies that are looking for clients I signed for a temp agency all I do is call in everyday to see what they have available that day or next week. You can also offer to baby sit a friends child, or mow their lawn once in awhile.

Yes! Try temporary employment agencies, have a garage sale, do some arts and crafts and other way to make money online.

If there are any fairs/festivals/events in your area, many of them need help with set up, serving, cleaning, parking cars, etc. Cleaning services in our area are always looking for help. Even with unemployment being up, they still had jobs that needed filling. Best of luck!

I write articles for extra money. It can add up pretty fast if you devote the time to do research and write good articles. There are many sites that is looking for people to write articles.

Become an author. Write a book and have your friends sell it. No need to even go through a publisher in this day and age of high speed printers and copiers.

I have tried writing articles online as well as a blog, that takes a long time to generate any real money. I would go with the temp agency--labor ready offers daily jobs and you can get paid daily or weekly. The other welder I work with was a temp through labor ready and he did such a great job that my company hired him on full time as an employee with benefits! I have also had a paper route in the past--it sucks, but you can make a decent amount of money doing that. Also check craigslist for labor gigs or temporary/full time employment. You can also donate plasma twice a week (my wife and I have done this many times!) and make a couple hundred bucks a month (cash). Recycle aluminum cans, copper, brass, etc for easy cash. Hope this helps--good luck

I am also in the same problem. Surveys for sure wont be enough. The ideas help, thanke. Labor ready is good but not steady but will get you in the door to find a regular job, have to be patient.

Another option would be if you have any marketable skill to try to start your own part-time business. Friends I know are my lawn cutting guy - building his business via word of mouth, my massage therapist works out of her house. One of my trainers started a unique business going to client's houses to provide personal training - no gym needed, cuts down on overhead. Give in house Yoga or Pilates classes. If you know dance, offer dance instruction in your house or client's house. Baking/catering for local events... Anything you think you could print up a flier and post around the neighborhood to see if people might try your service.

Another way to make some extra money is if you have a extra bedroom. You could rent it out. Just make sure the person you rent to is honest and nice. You wouldn't want anyone to take advantage of you. I use to set up at flea markets and sell what ever I could get may hands on that I could get for a little of nothing. But the flea markets have gone down now and aren't doing good. I have made coconuts cakes and sold them. They sell good. I charged $15 for the last one and the lady what glad to get it. Have a yard sale. I also have went to auctions and bought boxes of stuff for a $1 or $2 and have had a yard sale with that. I made a lot of money just off one auction. If you have a truck or van you could get alot stuff in it. Hope everyone has a nice day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Be careful with that bedroom thing, and I mean realy careful, screen and background check. AFter 30 days, you have to file and eviction. There are these sites, that holds me over, but I do have another thing I do and that is working elections they pay. You can sign up at your local board of election. I make over 150 for an election, been doing it for 7 years.

Sell stuff that's easy to ship on ebay!!!!!! It used to be just low priced items but you will make waaaaaay more than you will at a garage sale. It has saved me lately. And since you can list 50 items per month free, there is no risk! Only getting rid of stuff you don't want anyway! A good place to start is with video games, dvds, children's clothing. Those have sold very well for me!
I also do Secret Shopping. If you are detail oriented and can write well, you can find good work doing it. If you come across a company that wants you to pay them, DO NOT do it. It is a job, so you shouldn't be paying anyone. Only they pay you!
Lastly, try Amazon MTurk. Just make sure you answer accurately and honestly, as most of the stuff is for college psychology experiments. Good luck!
