Okay I am looking to update my nail polish seems like the ones I have I have had for a long time. What brand of nail polish seems to hold up the best, I don't mind paying a little more if I need to, I would like something that stays on well without chipping or fading. And what about the new colors like green, blue, purple....do those seem to be for younger generation?

I'm pretty daring about nail polish if you asked me.The colors that are hot now maybe orange, gold and silver. It doesn't matter your age, nail polish on your fingers is just nice to look at.Makes your fingers appealing and adds a little touch to your feminine side. You can't go wrong with nice looking nails!

I agree that all colors seem fun. I recently bought purple and love to put it on my toes! Most polish lasts longer if you actually wait at leat 30 mins between applications. Do a search about nail polish in your FC toolbar and earn while you learn.

I don't buy expensive nail polish because it doesn't last long enough. I spent a couple bucks on a few bottles and buy new ones every year or two.

I cant remember the last time i bought myself nail polish , its usually baughten for me as a gift or given to me as a hand me down ... lol

I've seen a lot of people wearing green, blue and lavender nail polish lately and oddly enough it looks really good with the right outfits.

There are some nice nail polish colors that I see a lot of people wearing. The neon pink, yellow, blue, purple, green, and orange are pretty.

I like Essie and OPI the best. They are both found at Target, WalMart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Essie is a very strong brand of colors, one coat of theirs is equal to two or three of other cheap brands. They're both equally about $6-7. Coral, teal, and light lime green (almost a pastel) are the 'big' colors right now. especially coral and teal.

i like sally hansen's hard as nails in the newer
colors... coral, lavender, gray... but i'll only
splurge on them once in awhile. yes, $3 a splurge :P

I've always been happy with the Wet 'N' Wild colors. They always stay vibrant and the paint doesn't chip.

I like the ones I can get from drug stores and I am very open for all the colors!! :)
I have so many, I don't even know how many I have!! :P

I get colors that are more conservative them anything I bought a gold color 2 months ago and have not opened the bottle it seems like I have nothing to wear with it
-
bold colors are always nice, its diffrent and doesnt blend with what your wearing so it stands out

I love OPI the colors seem to last, the price is not bad and they have such a variety of colors. [color]

I LOVE Essie. Too bad it's so expensive, but I swear by Essie. OPI's not bad, either. I like Sally Hansen as well.

I dont buy nail polish because my niece buys it all the time. So I just borrow some of her's and she is always buying colors that she doesnt like so I just take what she doesnt want after. But I try to stay with the mild colors not the real bright.
-
I always but the cheap kind. I think all of the nail polish does not last long, so why splurge on polish? Buy the cheap kind and when ever you get tired of a certain color buy some more.
-
I personally think Sally Hansen nail polish seems to hold up well.

I like Sally Hansen, Fresh Paint, and Funky Fingers (the last 2 brands are purchased from Five Below at 3 for $5 but are incredible for the price and NEVER require more than 2 coats for full opacity.) I swear by OPI Nail Envy Top Coat. It will make any nail polish last at least a week without chipping (which is quite a feat for me).

I use Sally Hansen but only silver. I am not into reds, pinks, or any tacky bright colors. Silver goes with everything and my daughter is even using it now.

I see people of all ages wearing the unusual colors (Joan Rivers is one). I always use a top coat to prevent chipping. I'm using polish only on my toenails right now and using Barielle cream on my fingernails to reverse too many years of acrylics and to make them grow, which it does very quickly.
