Who's watching(ed) the opening ceremony? Who's excited about it? What you looking forward to?
-
I watched it. That's about the only part I will watch.
-
I'm a complete Olympic junkie. Watched the opening ceremonies - I thought it was a nice celebration/show they put on. Already trying to plan out how I'm going to manage to watch all the different sporting events I'm interested in. Going to be interesting, but I'll love the challenge. ;D

Don't watch much TV but will try to catch some highlights
-
I'll pay attention to the medal count, and to USA Basketball since I'm not convinced they're not going to blow it again like they did in 04.
-

Watched the opening ceremonies. They seemed to just drag on, but an appearance from Mr. Bean made things better.

I didn't watch the opening. I usually watch an event or two per day, depending on time and what else is on. I do follow the results on various outlets like SportsCenter, the newspaper and online.
-
I watched it, I was not as impressed as I was with 2008 opening ceremony. Womens gymnastics is my favorite event to watch!
-
I only saw the first half of the opening ceremonies, and it was kinda boring to me, hopefully the closing ceremonies will be better!
-
I did not watch the opening ceremony. I like watching the gymnastics, swimming, and track and field events in the Olympics.
-
I watched the opening ceremonies. Loved the part with Mr. Bean and also the scenes with 007 and the Queen parachuting into the stadium. A lot of the commentary was interesting on how different this Olympics is from the one London did in 1948. Athletes and countries had to provide food, equipment, towels. They spent 0 money on it, no venues etc. Now they spent a billion or more. [color]

I missed the opening ceremonies but I've been reading up on everything on Yahoo.

I was confused the whole time during the opening ceremony. I love watching gymnastics and track & field!

I watched a bit of the opening but went on to other things. I've watched most of the gymnastics and swimming stuff. I caught one diving competition off a huge platform - no way I'd ever get up there much less dive off ;D
-
I watched the opening ceremonies with my family. I think the highlight was the bunch of guys who were wearing top hats like Abraham Lincoln dancing. We referred to them as the break dancing lincolns. I do like watching all the countries march in.
