Title: Those Who Have Passed On

I just learned that one of my favorite comic actors, Geoffrey Hughes, died on Friday of prostate cancer at age 68.  Hughes played a character on one of my favorite British sitcoms, Keeping Up Appearances.  It seems to me it has been a really bad year for losing actors, musicians, etc., and I was wondering:  is there someone in that group who has gone on that hit you a bit harder than the rest?

No, but when John Cleese dies, I will definitelly be sad. I used to watch "Keeping up Apperances" alot.

Sorry to hear that!!! I hate hearing about actors or any entertainers passing away!!! May they all rest in peace!!!  :peace:  :heart:

I was sad when Gloria (who played the older version of Rose, the Kate Winslet character) passed away recently.

I thought you were talking about personally and my sister who died at age 26 and her birthday was yesterday and she would have been 58... I miss her still  :heart:

Sorry to hear about your sister--and I know what you mean.  My mother died when I was in high school, some 40 years ago--but I still have days when it feels like it just happened yesterday.

wow sad to hear when anyone you know passes, my mom is a big fan of that show not sure she knows  :-
