I have a lifestyle that is great for me, at this time, in my life. It took time but I now have a situation that is a great fit for me.
I'm usually a very cheerful person and I feel like I'm happy most of the time. I'm completely aware that I am responsible for me own happiness. There is one thing I'd like to change, and I think that when I experience that change, I'll have everything the way I want it.
How happy are you in your life?
Are other people responsible for your happiness?
Do you feel that if you could make certain changes you'd be a happier person?

I am very happy that you are happy. I believe that true happiness depends upon me being content with what I have, no matter what it might be. It seems that if I want to change things to make it better or keep things the same so I won't get unhappy then I will continue to want to tinker with things in order to make myself "happier." By the way, isn't happy a funny sounding word? I smile just saying it. :)

I am extremely unhappy with my job. Finding another one is a slow process. Hopefully that will work out soon.

I could be happier, I am in a relationship that I am unsure of. He is a good guy and treats me well, but I keep feeling I am missing something. :crybaby2:

This has been a very stressful year for me. I had an almost fatal illness and was hospitalized for that but am slowly recuperating and taking lots of vitamins and iron to replenish blood loss. Then my mother was hospitalized. We thought for certain that her end was near. She is 94 and we have longevity in the family, but that was very stressful. The highlight was my son's beautiful wedding after I got out of the hospital, but the trip took a toll on me. At this point, I'm trying to do 6 months of cleaning and housework. My house isn't dirty but I need to clean closets, garage, etc.

I have to say that I'm very happy. I admit that I don't make as much money as I'd like and sometimes that becomes a stuggle, but I try to live within my means and do free or inexpensive things that I enjoy. I'm in a wonderful relationship and do things I enjoy. I have my health I do things I love so what else can I ask for. ;D
