I missed Days of Our Lives. :)
-
I was fun while it lasted, but I guess not everyone can get into the spirit of the Olympics. The opening and closing ceremonies are pretty awesome though!
-
its only every 4 years. i wish it were still on.
-
Besides the horrible opening ceremony (I didn't watch the closing ceremony) I enjoyed the Olympics this year and yes...I glad it's over. Now I can go back to my regular life.
-
yes im glad they are over that was all you heard about on the news everyday
-
Yes I'm glad their over can't say I missed Day's of our Lives lol but I am looking forward to some different programming while I'm channel surfing
-
I rarely watch television these days.
I know I used to love watching the Olympics but I did not watch at all this year.
-
sort of, whenever i would turn the tv on to watch the games it just seemed like it would be more fun to be there live.
-
I will miss it. I like watching some of the events, but not all.
-
It sad tht Olympic is over; but I believe the player in the Olympic is happy is over and got their reward.
-
i'm not going to miss them, since i didn't care to tune in this year.
and in turn, i won't miss people talking about things i don't know
anything about.
-
My life wasn't too heavily impacted. I only watched certain events and I used the NBC site if I wanted to replay any particular parts I missed on television directly.
-
I never watch the Olyimpics so it doesnt meatter to me
-
I like the Olympics ... I work in a bar where we watch sports all the time and it was a nice break to see some
other sporting events besides the normal summer baseball
-
I am I think. It gets to be overkill after a while but I am happy for all the athletes! They deserved they're medals!
-
I'm proud of our people who won medals or tried to win medals but I am glad I can get back to watching Wheel of Fortune. Its one of the few things I watch on regular TV channel. Anyone else find regular TV programming ridiculous?
-
yep! glad it's over now we can watch America's got talent. LOL
-
I enjoyed the Olympics but missed some of the things I would have liked to have seen.
-
I wish it was still on. It was my background noise during the day. Now the tv just stays off again during the day. I really didn't like how NBC waited until primetime to show the anticipated events though. Especially when the news or internet had the result blasted all over. Made the primetime stuff kind of pointless to watch.
-
I miss it some. There were parts of the olyimics that i throughly enjoy. These kids work hard to get where they awere and that is in the olyimpics. Lordy if i tried to do some of the things they did i would hurt myself big time.
-
i am very glad it is over, it was kind of stupid watching them when you already knew what was going to happen
-
I enjoyed watching it, but I'm partly glad it's over so that the other shows that I like will come back on.
-
Haha yeah, I enjoyed the olympics for a few days. I know I watched my fair share, but I am happy that its over now.
-
The olympics isn't what it used to be, but it was fun to watch track and field and the basketball tournament.
-
I couldn't devote myself to so much TV every day. I dont have the time. When I was at the nail shop getting a pedicure, the shop had it on so I watched. But on my own, the little TV I do watch is always on cable channels.
-
yes I don't watch sport on TV.a bad move is beter i think.
-
I really didn't watch the opening or closing ceremonies, even if I was free at that time to watch, I think I would've watched only sporadically, not continuously. But in terms of sports, I'm a big sports fan, and watch a lot of TV Shows, as well. I guess the Olympics really entertained me enough to the point of not missing the other shows too much. I didn't mind the time it lasted, and I wasn't looking forward for it to finish, I guess I was neutral, if it got to the end, then it was cool, I could go back to my other shows; if it didn't, then it was cool also, I could keep watching more of it.
-
i will miss watching gymnastics and diving
-
I'm very much an Olympics junkie, so I'm in a little bit of withdrawal. I always love watching the variety of sporting events - particularly the ones that you don't always get to see (like beach volleyball, ping pong, swimming, diving, rowing, etc). I keep looking out for possible ways I might be able to try to get on a team at my age (like maybe archery or curling in the winter olys ) - would love to represent USA at an Olympics if it were possible.
That being said, all good things must come to an end. Although I would've liked the games to continue - I am enjoying getting back to watching my summer shows, and getting prepared for the new fall season.
-
I couldn't care either way, to be honest. I don't watch the Olympics.
-
Definitely.. Just watched some of that stuff for awhile, most of it really didn't interest me. :cat: :cat: :cat:
-
Come to think of it... it seems it was a month ago the Olympics ended. In fact it was just a little over 2 weeks ago the closing ceremony ended. I’ve been working all this time, it felt like the Olympics never existed.
-
Thank You LORD it's over!
I mean, i love my country and all that but it is just something i can't get in to. =/
-
i enjoyed the chance to see some incredile feats of athleticism and it only comes every four years so that is okay with me
-

-

I missed Days of Our Lives. :)
I used to watch that show and look forward to it to come on everyday. One day tried to watch it but i don't recognize any of the characters anymore.
