I could honestly go on for hours and possibly days about who my favorite musicians/bands are, but I'm going to keep this short (since most of the fabulous forum contributors have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to music). I've decided that its too difficult for me to choose a favorite, so I'm posting my top 3.
The Smiths. Tool. Cradle of Filth.

The third choice is a bit unique.
I go through phases where I'll go on binges of listening to anything from stoner metal to gothic country. However, Alice In Chains, Led Zeppelin, and Rage Against the Machine have always been mainstays.

George Strait, The eagles and anything motown.

i'm 44 was a teenager in the 80's and aerosmith was my favorite then and still is my favorite now. the music they made changed to kee up with the times classic

I haven't heard anyone mentioned that I don't like! A favorite is impossible to pick. For mushy lovey dovey reasons, I would say James Morrison. A few years ago when the love of my life walked in the door, and we acted like teenagers again, I had picked/sent him a song and he picked/sent me a song and amazingly they turned out to be on the same album of James Morrison. It was funny because I had never heard of him before and had no idea the songs were both his till the reincarnated teenager in me went looking for those songs we had heard. Now, years later my heart still flip flops a little when I hear his music. Healthy flutters and a teenage smile for a lady many years past her youth!! LOL LOL

coldplay, beatles and oasis

My all time favorite singer would have to be Selena Perez even though she has been dead since 1995 I still love her songs my favorite would have to be Dreaming of You and Como La Flor.

Nice choices. I'm a fan of those 3 as well. I really shouldn't set my top 3 in stone, though. I tend to change it frequently.
Gothic Country? ???
Now I must Google this.
