Which do you like better?
-
I have used Rite Aid, and very familar with them. CVS not so much. But I wonder, do you think they are owned by the same company?
-
I have used CVS and they have provided good services. I do not have a Rite Aid in my area.
-
Don't have a Rite-Aid close to me; CVS takes care of all my mom's rx needs and has done so for years and years. I like them well enough--except for the time the rx got called into the wrong store and I had to drive one town over to pick it up. But--that's not the usual procedure. ;)
-
??? Guess I'd have to say CVS because we haven't had a Riteaid in our area for years and even then it was in the next town over and I never went there but one time. Always went to Eckerds prior to it becoming CVS and now continue going there. It is my favorite because every 4 sales I think it is I get a dollar coupon.
-
cvs is better cause they give you 2% back every 3 months as a reward certificate and they have a bunch of good offers but rite aid has good ice cream
-
I like CVS better because of the extrabucks rewards it offers. I have saved lots of money this way. Also, Rite Aid is not in a convenient location in conjunction to where I live.
-
I'm used to going to CVS it's just a matter of habit
-
I like CVS. Rite Aid is too expensive
-
I prefer the Walmart Pharmacy myself. I don't go to either Rite Aid or CVS
-
Rite Aid is crap CVS ain't that much better but I'd go with CVS.
-
I choose which ones closer to me at the time I need to get something! I don't shop at either of them very much! :sad1:
-
Hey what about walgreens?
-
I personally like CVS.
But when I get a Rite Aid ad in my paper.. I will check it out.
If by chance they have something on sale that I have a coupon for....
I will go to Walmart and price match. :)
Happy Earning
-
I have never heard of Rite Aid, however, if we're talking about the pharmacy.. its like this.
Walgreens is the most expensive, want you to sign up for this card for discounts
Cvs not too bad on price.
Target & Walmart are the best pharmacy coupons.
CVS has a great deal on cigarettes though. :)
-
neither. Niether one is anywhere near where I live.
-
I usually try to take my Perscriptions to Walmart but if I need something right away the CVS is the closest to me.
-
Well, that depends. There are a few of these chain type stores. I like RiteAid.
-
CVS, although i also like rite aid, there aren't as many convenient locations as i would need to consistently shop there :(
-
I don't really care for CVS that much, I don't think they have a very good selection and their prices are high, we don't have a rite aid in our area. I always go to Walgreens, its my favorite.
-
I just started shopping at both of them within the last few years, since I started couponing. Rite Aid was great at first because they always had $5 off of $25 coupons and video value coupons. But now this past year they changed all their policies and now you can't get as many good deals. Plus they started these UP rewards, but they don't last very long. Basically, they make you shop there every week to use those. I like CVS much better because their extracare bucks last much longer, so if they don't have any good deals one week, I'm not forced to go in and use my extracare bucks anyway. But I think it is definitely not worth shopping at these stores unless you are using coupons along with a sale because the products are way overpriced if there is no sale.
-
CVS.
-
I used Rite Aid when I lived back in California, but now that I've moved out of state, there aren't any near me. So I use CVS. The pharmacists are always nice to me, and I love that there are always a lot of CVSs around!
-
I know it wasn't an option but I like Walgreens best.
-
We don't have Rite-Aid in my area, so I'd have to go with CVS (or Walgreen's).
-
I know it wasn't an option but I like Walgreens best.
I know it was just the one time experience, but the time I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription for my husband, the people there were all very rude to me.
I wanted to get out as fast as I could!
-
CVS has extra bucks rewards, RiteAid has the UPs rewards program so both are excellent stores to shop at for really good deals. Alot of coupon blogs have tutorials on how to shop these places and roll over rewards. Both are close to me but I use CVS primarily.
-
Both stores are good, I agree about the fact that RiteAid is a little bit more expensive than CVS. I have both of them within a mile distance. I would have to say, personally, I like Walgreens better, not only I find better deals there, but some prices are better too, without mentioning the fact that is conveniently open 24/7 as well; unlike RiteAid and CVS.
-
i like cvs but they are still not better than walgreens. Walgreens is the best.
-
I have been a CVS customer for over 10 years now. I love the quility service that I receive from them. I am not to familiar with Rite Aid
-
Around here, all we really have is CVS. I've been in a Rite Aid before though, and I have no preference. They're basically the same exact thing!
-
No Rite-Aid stores around here. One CVS, with another currently being built, but both are several miles from my home. I go to Walgreen's fairly often. Several in town with the closest only one mile from me.
-
In my opinion, Cvs and Rite Aid are very good. I shopped at both for different things.
-
I prefer CVS. They have better prices.
-
Both CVS and Rite Aid are great stores! and since I live very close to a Rite Aid and shop there a lot!!! I think Rite Aid is better
-
I get better deals with CVS via the rewards program - particularly the coupon dispenser in store and the rewards cash back program. However, I actually liked to a degree Longs before CVS replaced them.
-
Between the 2 I would have to say Rite Aid seems to be cheaper.
Overall I prefer Walgreens.
In my area it looks like Rite Aid is going under and CVS is coming in strong.
-
Rite Aid!! Don't have CVS close by!!
-
Rite aid its because its near me ^^
-
It's sad, but I have to say CVS because the Rite-Aid near us went out of business. I used to love shopping there so much, too. They always had such good weekly sales that it was a great place to go for that "stock up" run. CVS does have a good rewards program, too, but if I could find another Rite-Aid, I would choose them for sure.
-
I like CVS better, but I go to Rite Aid sometimes
-
When I lived in New York, I loved CVS. But I do not have one near my house now, so I would have to say Rite aid!
-
Cvs
-
CvS cause I health care plan has a contract with them!
-
I prefer Rite Aid. The CVS near my house is pretty expensive :BangHead:
-
I use both but I prefer CVS.
-
I prefer CVS. It's part of my drug plan that my employer offers. They also have the Extracare Rewards program. When CVS bought out Longs Drugs, most people don't view it as CVS..still considered Longs (kept the Longs Drugs name)...especially in Hawaii.
-
I like Rite Aid better. I can find what I am looking for more easily than I can at CVS. I prefer Rite Aid because I like the products and most of the prices are okay, although they could look into a new supplier for some very high items they carry. Overall they usually have everything I am looking for and they stay open late so I like them. :)
-
CVS
-
It doesn't matter to me which one I go to, whichever one is closest is the one I go to and that's usually WalMart!
-
i think they are about the same, they are both really high priced for me
-
I don't think I've ever been in a Rite Aid. I do think it's odd that there's a Walgreens across the street from most, if not all, the CVS here.Walgreens tends to be cheaper and I do tend to go to both before I buy anything
-
Neither. I always go to Walgreens.
-
Walgreens :-)... I haven't visited either of the other two.
-
I have never been to a Rite Aid and have only been to CVS just a couple times. I've been curious about Rite Aid though, and if I ever get the chance I'll check them out.
-
i rarely go to the pharmacy stores. sometimes during the
holidays i'll take a look at their candy/holiday decor
because they usually have some unique things you
won't find anywhere else...
but for every day stuff, they're like, $1 - $3 more than
other stores! no thanks.
-
Which do you like better?
TO be honest, i think Rite aid and CVS are both overpriced and headed for chapter 11 real fast!!
-
Between the both of them, i will give CVS the nod over Rite Aid. Rite Aid has lost my support because there is always a long line at the Pharmacy counter, my meds are always late, they do have enough people on duty.
Cvs is a little better, i do not have to wait long on my orders, they pay me much more respect and they open 24 hours for my convenience.
-
I've been to both stores, but I prefer Walgreens.
-
I like CVS better.
-
I go to Lewis Family Drug for our prescriptions since they are in my town.
I don't know where a Rite Aid or CVS store is located.
-
Both.. depends on whats on sale :icon_rr:
-
I dont know enuff about Rite Aid.If they have one open 24 hrs id consider it a draw then.I like the fact there are CVSs open 24 hrs.
-
I dont think ive honestly ever shopped at a rite aid or even seen one but cvs is ok but i prefer walgreens
-
I go to CVS...its the only one around...well beside Walgreen
-
I like CVS more because of the prices/sales and I don't really go to Rite Aid much.
