Title: Did you know that the proper way to pop a pimple
Post by: BK_Adores_Chase on September 04, 2012, 11:53:54 am
is to pull the skin apart not push it together..I mean there are other steps but my whole life I thought you like squeezed that sh** outta there, today I tried the pull technique and bam, it totally worked glad I was informed of the proper way.

I never really had that many pimples, I get one every blue moon, but whenever I get one, I've always squeezed, hahaha. I also didn't know there was a "proper" way to do it. I guess it depends where the pimple is. There are certain places where it is very hard to pull the skin apart, so it is actually easier to squeeze. Having said that, I'm not saying squeezing is better, I'm just saying sometimes squeezing is the only option for those hard to reach places. In case you're thinking about the wrong "hard to reach places",  ::), I"m referring to places like 'in' or 'around' the nostrils, for example or the back of your ear for example. There are other places like your back, of your back-shoulder where it is hard to reach with two hands, and it would require either to pull it apart using one hand only, or using somebody else's help  :P

In any case I'm just speculating, next time I get one, I'll use the proper method to test it for myself, hopefully is not in a "bad" hard to reach place  :o

well, i always squeezed it coz it usually got everything out at once, but sometimes it bubbles back up again and then i have to pop it again and then it goes away. i never heard about the pull the skin method..seems weird.

Interesting!  I haven't had a pimple in years but I think I tried everything in the book. I might have pulled the skin apart too - don't remember! LOL

Seems weird but maybe I will try it. I never pop pinples, and if I have one I just use a hot compress on it and then a cold one and they go away.

I don't really know that proper way I just know I enjoy popping them.  I don't really get too many on my face but my boyfriend breaks out more then I do and I love popping them for him.  Fortunately for myself he allows and encourages me to pop them for him.  Popping black heads are a bit tougher but still just as enjoyable.   ;D
