Title: First Lady wardrobe
Post by: Gerianne on September 06, 2012, 06:53:37 am
I saw a news clip comparing the First Ladies from both parties[their wardrobe].
Americans are not going to vote based on wardrobe (at leat I would hope not).

Wouldn't it be nice if it were that easy  ;D  No doubt there will be people who will make up their minds based on nonsense like this.

Well of course, the first lady is not running for President...I think it's silly for people to compare one's fashion to another. They're individuals with their own personal style. The way someone chooses to dress shouldn't even be relevant, but hey...what to you expect from today's media? (Personally I think Mrs. Obama look's great though, just saying.)

I would think that wardrobe would NOT be a factor in any election or what would this country be coming to??? That is awful Poor Michelle has worked so hard to wear the clothing that has been made for her and shes a jean type gal. You would think folks would rather have someone who is not so frilly and afraid to get dirty to lead our country. Thanks for the topic.

If we HAD to vote on wardrobe, Michelle would lose.  She dresses like a Pinata!

That's the new media for you!! The biggest thing in this country is how the first lady dresses???Come on now!! There are alot more important items that need to be dealt with than if the first lady wears a red dress or a blue dress!!That is the whole problem - we are not getting to what is the purpose of these two men running and how they are going to deal with the economy over the next 4 years, and their record of the past!!! I don't see where what Michelle Obama is wearing has anything to do with the state of the country.

I think it's absurd how much time the Today show this morning spent talking about Michelle's dress and nail color.  They even had the dress designer to talk about the dress (she said it'll be available for under $500!  Sure, like I can run out and buy that.  Don't they know how bad the economy is????)   Unfortunately, this is what people want to talk about, not the issues or the problems.  Just wardrobes and nail polish.  Although I did love the dress, LOL!!
