There are 2 days that we should not forget and one of them is today and the other is December 7th. To those who made the sacrafice we do remeber.

Here here! To those that lost their lives either as innocents or in the line of duty. :star:  :star:

You are so correct. The men and women who have stood that watch and given of their lives are so much to be thanked for every moment of their service. This country has made such a strong comeback and it is the show of power of our armed forces that makes us what we are. I agree that this date should become an official holiday and those with the pride, courage, and determination to wear the uniform are to be saluted, as well as their families who have sacrificed in standing by their loved ones in prayer anticipation. I am from nowhere near NYC, but the pictures I have seen of the new construction at ground zero look amazing!

I will never forget, my daughter was born today one year after the attacks, she was on the news as the first baby born in our town one year after. It was a great feeling, kind of like she was being born again for someone who was killed. Always remember these days.

Yesterday and the past couple of days, I watched 911 all over again. It still breaks my heart to see it and all the lives lost on that day. I have cried just as much as I did when it happened 11 years ago. In our town the fire department had 2 fire truck with their latters up and a huge American Flay hanging between them. I went by them yesterday and cried again for the fire fighters that lost their lives then among all the other lives that was lost. I hope this never happens again. Hope everyone has a nice day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I completely agree! I also have a friend that was killed on 9/11 (but not b/c of the terrorist attacks) but in a car accident. I do remember all of those who's lives were taken from us unfairly.
God Bless
