I just spent 20 minutes answering questions about movies for a survey for them to then say I qualify for a survey about heartburn medication! I then spent another 20 minutes answering questions about all different types of Heartburn medications, filling in blanks, marking little dots for them to tell me that I do not qualify for the survey ??? ??? That is so frustrating :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: REALLY? I think all the questions I've answered should count for something!! No instead I wasted almost an hour of my time for NOTHING >:( >:( >:( Those survey sites that do that should be ashamed of themselves :angry7: :angry7:
Sorry just venting! I just wasted a lot of time for a .90 cents and basically took two different surveys in one and still got rejected!

Totally agree with you a lot of them are like that it is frustrating I have about given up on survey's here completely they seem to do nothing but play games I don't get :BangHead:

I am trying to figure out why some of the surveys have nothing to do with their title. It can be annoying to click on a survey that appears it will be about movies or drinks or something and then it is about heartburn medicine or investments...... I gave up on surveys months ago.... I only do the FC ones that will pay .01 even if you are disqualified. I, too, get frustrated when I spend 15 or 20 minutes answering questions and then get dq'd at least the penny is something. Thanks to FC for doing this!!
-
There are times when the links to the survey are changed. Yes, it's frustrating and has happened to me more times than I can count. Still, I keep plugging away at them, because they do pay well when they credit.
-
It is rare that I get through a complete survey. I am usually knocked out in the prelim stages. It does seem stupid that you get a lot of health questions or some other types of questions that have nothing to do with the advertised topic to try and get to the actual survey.

everyone learns how to quit if its going nowhere

At 90¢ you must be talking about Samplicious. Whenever I see their surveys come up I just close it out. It is permanently hidden from my dashboard.

Has anyone tried the "Cooking" offer?? Everytime I click on it... it sends me to a Pet site. Has nothing to do with cooking?? Is it just me?? or does anyone else have that same trouble?
-
The same thing happened to me the other day on a survey about cars. It said I'd completed it on one page, and on the next page it said I'd been disqualified. I never got credit for it either. It can be very frustrating but I try not to get discouraged over it. I just move on to the next thing and hope for better results.
-
You're not alone. I go through the same thing quite frequently. It's just downright misleading to me. :angry7:
-
Very frustrating! That's why I only attempt surveys when I'm in a very patient, calm mood. :angel12:
-
I once took a myview survey that started out as 15 minutes, actually took 75 minutes due to a redirect....all for 50 cents. That was far more work than necessary but at least I got the money.
-
Same here, almost every survey that i start to fill out says that i am not qualified, i think i will give up on the offers here.

FusionCash is not like a restaurant; our paying customers aren't you members but rather the advertisers and survey providers. Members like yourself are independent contractors, and you get paid rather than paying us (like you do with most businesses).
We work hard to balance the needs of our members (without whom there wouldn't be a site) and our advertisers (without whom we couldn't keep the lights on). This means a number of compromises: we have to limit the amount of bonuses we issue (we don't earn anything from it being your birthday... not to mention that with 2.3 million members we'd be issuing approximately 6000 birthday bonuses per day on average... not to FURTHER mention that if there was a birthday bonus, people might tell their referrals to choose a fake birthdate which is coming up soon so that they can get an additional bonus [and an incentive to falsify information is bad]).
As for survey qualification, it's a complex issue:
1) Surveys are often routed through two or more survey systems, and they rarely share information: so you may have to "qualify" for a survey multiple times.
2) Surveys are typically targeted at one demographic "slice", for example "males in the midwest". Once the quota of "males in the midwest" is full, you wont qualify anymore. You may see other people being credited for the same survey, because they're in a different 'slice'.
3) Since your qualification depends on your demographics (which you can't control) different members have different experiences with surveys. For some, who are among rarer demographics, they almost always click through, qualify and get credited. For others, among more common demographics, they have more difficulties qualifying.
To belabor the restaurant metaphor, a survey provider might "order" 200 survey completions from "males in the midwest". If we delivered them "females in new york" instead, they'd rightfully be dissatisfied; like getting fish 'n chips when you ordered a steak. This is why taking surveys can be frustrating, inconsistent work. If there was a way to improve it, we would, but you can't really tell a multi-billion dollar multinational research firm that their survey platform "needs to be fixed"...

a lot of them will do that.. it is kinda weird but it doesnt hapen to me too often :)

I was very big into surveys when I first began to participate in FC about two years ago and I learned patience. I have had both moments of frustration and failure and moments of fulfillment and success and each survey company is different, some seem a bit easier then others to qualify for and to complete. SSI usually provides a painless survey experience, but you must try all of them to see which best suits you and doesn't cause so much frustration, if you want to get into surveys you need to have time, patience, and determination to see them through.
-
Finally qualified for a survey that was e-mailed to me and just got going when my server crashed.
I tried to re-take the survey, but got "you've already completed survey"
Now, thats FRUSTRATION!
Not FC problem, just needed to vent :'(
-
I have suffered the frustration vented in this thread many times and I agree that "patience" is the key word. After the numerous frustrations, it just seems to me that the occasional acceptance is so gratifying that the "less than satisfactory" experiences seem to make the acceptance all the sweeter. I get really, really happy when I complete a survey and get my reward. Without the rejections of the past, it would just be an unexciting daily task. Always looking for the silver lining...:)

I am fully aware of this! Which is why I made sure to mention that I was just venting out of frustration! I have every right to do so!

That's fine however, it isn't a "right" on FC so much as it's permitted by the site owners, (unless they choose not to permit it).

I don't even bother with anything except the FC surveys. I hardly ever qualify for the others :(
-
I too get frustrated here in there but it's better when ur clam and have the time lol :peace:
-
I don't take the surveys in the offer section at all. Only the FC surveys since I can get something for my time. As far as the weird questions, I think since some people answer dishonestly when they get an idea of what demo the survey is looking for, oddball questions are thrown in to keep you honest. More likely though, there may be multiple surveys you're "trying out" for regardless of the title.
-
???me too
-
That has happened to me at that site many many times also. :angry7:
-
The daily's are far easier to qualify for than FC. It just takes a little persistence to find one that is right for you. The PQs are shorter so there is more time for success.
-
it got me also today
