Out of curiosity I wanted to know how many people actually liked dogs and what dog breed do you perfer to have.I myself have 3 pitbulls. Not for fighting but loving. So what would you like to have?If you already have a dog, what is his/her breed?
-
Rottens all the way. I've had 4 and they are the best. Big, loud and scarey. Even the ones that are afraid of people.
-
 After the last experience I had here with renters and pit bulls, no pit bulls. I like Rottweilers ok, just more of a hound dog person :)
-
You should have made a poll.

I have both, I have a 5 year old female pit and a 4 year old male rott.
Both of which are so loving to my girls that they must be by my girls all the times. If they can't be around my girls they diffenetly let someone know that they are not happy about the situtation.
Of course it depends on how the dog(s) are raised. Loving, outside dog, a lap dog...so on.
Just my two cents!
-
I have black lab. But no sense in explaining anything, go to wikipedia and look up your breed.
-
I prefer pitbulls
-
pitballs are adorable! and they really are good dogs
-
I prefer rottweilers. There have been too many problems in my area with pitbulls biting and attaching people, especially children. Not to say that rottweilers will not attach, but my husband had one when we were dating and he was huge and as gentle as a lamb. I'm not sure if something is wrong with the breed or if people are training pitbulls to be this way.
-
Neither.
-
never-never is it the breed and you'll never convince me otherwise. mean dogs are mean because something or someone has been mean to them.
i'll take either one but...
i'm partial to rottweilers. my dixie died this past january 27th. she was a 12 yo rottie and my life and views about these kinds of animals has changed, for the better, because of her.
i didn't want her (i had kids and was pregnant) but my stubborn husband brought her home anyway.
she just stayed in the corner for the first week, sizing us up. and after that...she was guardian and playmate for my kids. if someone came over to see my newborn daughter, dixie got right in the middle to protect her. i miss her!

Neither, I've always adored Labs.
-
I have 3 dogs, a pure bred red nose pitt, a black lab/border collie, and a pitbull/malamute mix..... The one that I like best is the red nose pitt, and the lab is pretty sweet, but the pitt mala mix is a pain in the butt!
-
ive had both a 160 lb rott named taz and a red nose pit name chevy. i liked them both but may fav is a boxer.. right now we have a jack russell terrier (Rascal) that got attacked by a pit had to go to vet and have surgery for a broken jaw.
-
neither- i prefer pomeranians.
-
Rottweilers require a lot of attention and pitbulls have really sensitive hearing, guess that is why I am a cat person.
-
I have a short haired Chiluahua, big ugly dogs aren't my thing.
-
I would rather have neither...but if i had to pick i would say pitbull

you know, honestly, i prefer a good ol' mutt. they're just as sweet as any other dog, sometimes more so. and they need love just as much as anyone else. i currently have a dalmation, three black lab mixes, a beagle mix, a fox terrier mix, and a shepherd/golden retriever mix ;p we're just a very colorful family<3.

wow, you must go through quite alot of dogfood. :D

I have a rottweiller aussie mix that I inherited when he was about six. What a love of a dog! He is very affectionate but protective too. Loves to do right and feels real bad if he doesn't do what we tell him. He can be a little scary since he is so big and he doesn't see far away real well so sometimes he barks until he recognizes who is there. But what a great dog!
-
Rottweiler - I grew up with neighbors that had 7 and they were very well behaved. However, I would probably not own either because I prefer other breeds I hope to own someday like Newfoundland, Great Dane, Huskie, Mastiff, Lab, or Chow Chow. Personally I think mutts are the best. I currently own a mutt that I never figured out what breed he is a mix of, but he was supposed to be a Newfie/Lab mix.
-
I have three dogs. Two males and one female. The female is Chicuaha/Doxen? mix and one boy is a golden retriever the other is a 2nd gen wolf.

haha, yes ;p quite a bit.

I think pit bulls are more dangerous because their jaws lock. Rottweilers are scary but less lethal.
-
awwww....still loving these pits.My baby recently had some babies and now they are getting big but so adorable. They are nine weeks and the runt is still the size of a rat...hmmm....I think I might end up with a miniature pit....huh???..IDK...strange..
-
I love pits...I had one but couldn't keep her because we were moving and they didn't allow them IN THE TOWN! How stupid is that. She was the most loving dog I have ever had too! I miss her :crybaby2:
-
i love dogs and i perfer pitbulls
-
I don't really care for dogs too much, they are too needy for me. That's what God gave us men & kids for!!! LOL
-
I own a rottweiler lab mix. she's a good girl
-
I like seen both of them. They just have to be properly trained.
-
I prefer pitbull! There are awesome dogs and very protective.

I have a boxer! I love him to death...but beware, they have bad gas!

Rotts! Ive had several in the past. One weighed about 150lbs. Youcon Alexander Von Lane was so gentle and loving. We went on vacation one year and had my Mother-in-law stay with our babies and she said he fell off the porch and had a stroke and then couldnt walk. Wished I had been home. We had one, Boomer, who was small. He had this cough and we kept taking him to the vet for it and
they kept giving him different meds but nothing worked. Then one night he started howling and whining, so we went out there and he
was laying on the ground and he tried to pull himself to us but couldnt. We went over to where he was and he let out another howl then
passed away. We have so many heartbreaks with dogs but I love them.
-
I love all animals but my preference in dogs is German Shepherds.
We got ours from the SPCA when she was about 5 years old.
She is very skittish but one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met.
-
Rottweilers, definately rottweilers! I grew up with them, and they are so smart and loving. Our one Rottweiler, christy, loved everyone and was afraid of everything including our little poodle/chuahua dog! We called her Wimpweiler. But if someone were to try to harm any of us I know she would have torn them a new one. She was our spoiled rottenweiler! ;D
-
I would like a pitbull. I had one, but we had to give it away because we were moving.
-
I used to have a rottweiler. I think they get a bad reputation. They are really nice dogs and I kind of wish I had another one.
-
Neither.
-
I think they both get a bad rap. Good friends of mine have a pit named paco love that paco. Anyway never seen a nicer more well behaved dog love him to death :angel12:
-
I definatley prefer pitbulls. They are the greatest dogs to have around children as long as you raise them right and treat them good. Right now Ive got a 9 week old australian sheppard/german sheppard/blue tick mix.
-
I love any type of Lab. However my favorite dog is the chocolate lab. They're very family oriented and usually don't have an attitude.
I hate small dogs. They're annoying and make too much noise.
