why do people with grocery carts block the entire aisle?
-
I hate when people do that it makes me sooooooo mad.
-
I have to agree. I also hate when they set up displays in aisles... Like there was so much extra room there to begin with?

I know, it is not good planning!

and if your behind them they walk so slow like your suppose to wait on them even when you say excuse 3 times and when they move they give you a nasty look. ???
-
I ask myself that question many times. The only answer I could find is : "They simply do not care what happens to
other people".
-
lol because they are self absorbed. They same with people who walk SLOW and block the sidewalk or hallway. Just because you have nowhere to go in a hurry doesn't mean everyone has to walk slow. They have the NERVE to give a snobby look when you say excuse me to go past them. SMH

i know what you mean i just move it myself also hate when a store is jam packed like a few days before thanksging it's going to get ugly.good that sfaeway has people to help you lift the turkey into your cart i have to buy a 20lb so that helps.

Have to confess = sometimes when I drive to the grocery store and I see the bus from the local retirement home is there = I just leave and do my shopping later. I don't hate old people, I like them and know that all too soon I will be one. However, they take that whole cart in the middle aisle thing to the extreme and some days I know I just can't take it!

Another thing about grocery carts in the store that is annoying. When you are in the aisle and someone on the opposite side of the aisle is looking for something. You start to go past them but notice the person behind them trying to go around. You wait in place so they can go around and then they stop beside or just in front of the other person blocking the rest of the aisle and you can't proceed.
-
They do it because they are rude and have no consideration for other people. That is when you step up and say "excuse me." Or you could move their grocery cart for them. I say if they want to be rude, be rude back!
-
I wish I knew I ask myself the same thing, then some people act like they have an attitude when you wnt them to move it.
-
that is upsetting cant get around and people in wheelchairs ete cant even get close enough to try that and people talking in the middle of the aisle go outside and talk

I love the elderly, but I hate when two or three little old ladies take up the entire aisle with their shopping carts talking about "Gladys' operation" and don't move for anyone. :BangHead: :angry7:
-
Because they think they own the world, when I go grocery shopping, I am on a mission, I don't stand in the middle of the isle so other people cannot get through and it is so annoying, I get mad, and then turn into a nascar driver, letting them know they are being rude.
-
lol... ;D.. I do have to say it also upset me...But i am also always in a rush or just dont line to be in one place :dontknow:

agreed. i am not there to spend the day, in fact, i hate grocery shopping to begin with and just want to get it done as quickly as possible.

It is so annoying to have aisles blocked and not able to get around. Bad enough anytime; especially annoying when I am shopping at WalMart on Sunday--and I absolutely refuse to go to my WalMart Saturday, when it is nearly impossible to maneuver in there.
-
Humor is what gets me through the day. This one is to funny. Please carry on! Lol, ha ha ha :)
-
More annoying than that are the people that are too lazy to return the shopping cart. I've had some pretty bad damage done to my car from carts. Hate lazy people!
-
lol sometimes I do it without realizing. It's usually when my son is doing something distracting like pulling items off the shelf in the store.

But I forgot to mention when Im blocking someone I always apoligize for blocking their space. What gets me are people who get mad when they are all in the way and frown at you like you bothering them.
-
looks like an all of the above answer fits pretty well here lol
-
They block the aisle so no one else can get to the product they want before they do, because you never know when 50 people might bum rush the mac n cheese and take all 100 boxes. =-P
-
Yes or the people who are walking along and all of the sudden stop and block the whole isle. That is a sure way to get rn over
-
They are just trying to draw attention to themselves whether they realize it or not.
-
I don't think most people are doing it just to bum you guys out. I think they are just thinking about what they need to get, some of the carts are so big that it is impossible to not block the aisle if you are not really careful. I just smile and say thanks, whenever I have to go around them, or ask them to move. Life's to short to let the small stuff get you down!
-
Some people really don't care. They are the most important people in their own minds. Well, I do beleive in Karma so let it be let it be, they will get theres in the end. Meanwhile enjoy your day, and laugh if you can.
-
I hate that! Whenever I'm at a store, I try my best to stay out of people's way.

I know it is so rude! People leave them in parking spots and between cars. Would it kill them to move it to the appropriate holding area?
