Title: forum session timing out

I don't understand the last few weeks when I go to the forum I type in answer and it saying that mhy session is timing out, I have always done it the same way and its driving me nuts!!  Has this happened to anyone else?

Are you clearing your cookies?

No, this has not happened to me and I post/read the forum every day.  The suggestion that you clear your temporary and cookies is a good one.   That tends to clear up a lot of problems not always obvious to the user.  If using the Tools function for clearing cookies doesn't seem to do the trick, suggest you download CCleaner and let it do the job.

I think the Tools function works okay unless you use multiple browsers (I use IE, FF and Chrome).  I'm always amazed at how many temp/cookies build up in my pc in just of few days of surfing. Some folks clear their cookies/temp every day at the start of the day.

You're suppose to clear your cookies/temps before you do any offers or surveys for a given survey box.

I actually asked because clearing your cookies will log you out of FC & the forum.  It could explain unexpected 'session timeout' errors.

I hadn't realized that clearing my cookies/temp would log me out of the FC session.  Since I tend to use CCleaner and they want me to close all browsers while the cleaning is ongoing, the issue is mute.

But is relavent if you decide to use the Tools cleaner at the time you are working on site.
