Title: Becoming a Foster parent

Has anyone here became a foster parent and what does it take...Id like to try to look into it but im a single mom of a little girl..would they even let me?

My mom and dad were foster parents in Arizona.  I am not really sure of the details now but back in the 60's you had be a married couple.
They wanted both male and female household members for parents.  My mom and had had 34 children in their 7 years of being a foster parent.
