I'm afraid of what might happen if they actually bite me, or can cause harm to me. We can splat many things but in reality if your unaware then your not prepared. :thumbsup:

Long ago my sister chased me into a corner and put one of those things on my arm - I went hysterical and ever since I have this holy fear of them. :o :o :o

Although I'm not nervous if I'm in a building or on a Ferris wheel. But I am terrified if I have to be in a roller coaster or anything involving being attached to a cable. I wish I could get over it. :(

It seems that they had never seen me scared and knew of nothing that scared me. I had told them of fears that I had overcome but there didn't appear to be any more fear of anything. I conquered public speaking by entering speech contests. I conquered a fear of heights by jumping off of a cliff and out of an airplane. My wife had to think about it for a bit and it dawned on her that my biggest fear was of something happening to my son, daughter and/or wife and being unable to do anything about it!

so i no longer clim on any thing or go into high buildings and really don't like to fly but will.

Post by: jtrask on October 28, 2012, 03:45:52 pm: I live on the 3rd floor - wouldn't want to live on the higher floors in case there is a fire - however it use to be worse - when there was no smoke alarms that could wake you at night - now I have alarm in my place & on each floor there is alarm in the halls with a very loud voice that says their is a problem & get out of the building. :confused1:

I am afraid of strange large dogs that are not leashed and that I must walk by. I was chased by my neighbors dog when I was very young, and I only got away from him because he was on a chain. I did not see him when I approached my friends house. He came from around the corner, suddenly and quickly, and I was startled by him and the loud jangling of his heavy chain. I took off running, and he chased me, as far as his chain allowed. I felt a tug on my dress, and when I was out of his reach, I saw a tear on the hem of my dress, and it was wet with slimey dog saliva. That has stuck with me.
