Title: Major Problem with Tool Bar and Malicious URLs
Post by: BlackSheepNY on October 24, 2012, 08:24:23 am: I use Firefox with the FC Tool Bar. Since installing the Tool Bar (which was a while ago), I really can't say I've had a problem with it. However, for the past couple of days, my AVAST! Network Shield is CONSTANTLY blocking Malicious URLs related to the FC Tool Bar. I have saved 3 print screens of it but I'm not going to post them unless an Admin wants to see them.

Is anyone else having this problem? PS: Everything that needs to be updated, is.

Every time I open firefox I get the same malicious url alert from avast, also happens every time I search from the toolbar. So, I think everything is getting blocked because it's not giving me any credit for the searches either.

Post by: patt2442 on October 24, 2012, 01:55:50 pm: I have been trying to add toolbar for a week and cannot get it to download. I use Google Chrome but from reading post most people are using Firefox. Think I will try that and see what happens.

Well, I never had any issues before, either. I actually had to disable it after posting my original post, it got that bad, LOL.
