Do you feel like you're addicted to your cell phone? I admit Im addicted to my cell phone. I feel naked without it. Cell phones have so many features and so many things you can do when you're bored, you can play games, social network or just need to find out how to get to a particular place. Having the internet on the go is my favorite. :D

I might be the only 25 year old who does not own a cell phone lol. I grew up in a small town. Did laundry by hand. Got up with the sun to do cleaning. Then I worked. We never had cell phones unless someone was super rich. People act like cell phones are their life line. While I agree they have many benefits people have lived without them and have lived through it lol. To me cell phones are annoying. Its hard for me to get things done with constant text messages from people. I got ride of mine around a year ago and do not miss it. :)

I simply can't put my cellphone down. I'm definitely addicted.
-
My mobile device is required for my work and my lifeline for personal emergencies, so I have this with me almost everywhere. I do enjoy the benefits of browsing online, watching video and playing games too now, but sometimes I feel so refreshed when I actually put this away too.
-
I actually use my cell phone for business but love to put it down. I kind of miss the old days when people had to wait till you were home to speak with you on a landline.
-
No I'm not addicted to it. I could do without it. I don't even have games on my phone even when I did I didn't play them. I don't have a fancy phone with all the bells and whistles and that's fine with me.

I've had a cell phone for years and years; I originally got one when I was driving by myself back and forth from Texas to S.C. to visit my family. I've slowly upgraded thru the years and now have an Iphone and honestly don't think I could do without it. I have a bunch of games on it so when I'm not talking or texting, I'm playing lol. Yep, I'm addicted!!

I am not addicted to cell phones. I will use one if needed, but if not, I put it down.
-
I'm not addicted but it sure can be a habit. Recently went on vacation and got out of habit of even carrying it since didn't have signal a lot of the times anyway. It was a great break and I have noticed I don't reach for it or even think about it as much. Just using on "need to basis" which isn't as much as I thought! LOL

I definitely need my cellphone so does many other people.I don't know anyone who doesn't have one.
-
i would die without my cell phone lol

They are pretty nice now a days. They have so many things on them. But there are some people who are too addicted to them. The worst is driving and texting. That I do not do.
-
I can live without my cell phone since I can't afford half of the time to put more minutes on it. Now a days I just use my cell phone as a watch, alarm clock, camera, calculator and listening to music that I put on it. So, my cell phone is still useful without any minutes on it :)

I am absolutely addicted to my phone. I feel like I need to have it close at all times, even if I'm not using it.
-
We got rid of our land line (and the bill) and use cell phones only. Not smart phones, just regular cells, so don't play games or anything. I would not want to do without it. Like knowing my kids can reach me 24/7 regardless of where I am.
-
I don't use my cell phone much, only if it's an emergency. I don't like to use it at all, actually. I like to be as disconnected as possible and just stay aware of the world around me. I feel like it isolates people.
-
I can understand if you have a new phone that can do everything that someone would be addicted to it, but sadly i just have a phone that is kinda boring and so i dont have much feeling for it at all. :'( i don't like it at all.
-
I didn't realize how much i depended on my phone until it got lost. Its like all my calender dates and notes and alarms and everything seem to be all in this one device. Its actually pretty sad how addicted we get to these devices. Technology is has its pros and its cons but its definitely making our society alot lazier unfortunately.
-
No, I'm not addicted to mine. I use the same as I do a line, when necessary.
-
For some reason I never got addicted to any of my mobile devices...I enjoy them and I use them eveyday but I wouldn't die without them!
-
I am not. In fact I don't really have people to call in states!! :(
-
I'm not addicted to mine, but I enjoy having it. It's nice to have it for emergencies or if I'm bored and can play a game to pass time.

I love my cell phone. I am thinking of upgrading to a smartphone because of my work. I don't stop when I am driving to answer it, you can just wait a few minutes until I am where I am going. It also has an on and off button, if you don't want to talk turn it off let it take messages.
-
I have had a cell phone for 2 years. Just the other day I got Straight talk. It is going to save me $45 a month. I also got the net on it too. Did not have that with my other service. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

i am so not addicted to my phone, I forget it everywhere and constantly looking for it.. I am more addicted to my computer.
-
Not at all. I even forgot to bring mine with me some times. Now my computer... That is a whole other ball of wax.
-
We keep a Tracfone for emergencies and so family can get us if they need us but seems like when I really should have it with me, I don't :(
-
;) I mightbe put away my cell phone for a long period. However, I use homephone with my family.
-
I could pretty much live without my cellphone. The only thing I need is the internet, since its the only thing we have that really pays for itself.

:- A friend asked me to go with her to a party. Some party. Every one except myself was on a cell phone or a laptop or both. No one spoke to eachother much. I don't own a cell phone. I think it rude to visit someone and have you nose in your phone. MY favorite is when walking down the street or in a store and some one is looking right at you and talking, but not to you, they have a head set on. Oh yes, doesn't that make you feel real smart.
-
i may be addicted but is it fair to blame the people who keep texting and calling for not letting me kick the habit lol :dontknow:
-
I do feel naked without my cell phone, but it isn't due to any features or that type of thing. I just like for people to be able to reach me whenever they need as we never know when an emergency is going to happen.
-
I know im addicted! cant be with out. I do just about everything on that damn thing

I don't consider myself addicted, but that might be because my kids use it when life gets boring and I turn on the TV while they use my phone to play Bad Piggies or Angry Birds.

Yes I'm addicted tony phone. Thank you Steve Jobs for changing our lives...lol
-
I know I am not addicted to my cell phone. I even forget to bring it with me sometimes.
I think I would be more likely to remember it if I took advantage of more of the features on it. :dontknow:

Well, don't exactly feel addicted to it but I do feel like I need it - do use it a lot every day although it is more for contact with my family, don't play a lot of games but directions etc is very useful
