Congrats to both of u. I'm also a mom of a 2 year old girl and If I would have know about that website it would have saved me many calls to family and friends. She is my first child and as a first time mom I had many questions... So thanks for posting that site.. : )

I'm the mother of 4 grown children and I'm having a really bad day. The older they get the more trouble they get in. I'm almost thinking that if I had it to do over I would never have adopted them. I love them but at times they can be very mean, sly, and deceitful. They don't think about anything before they do it. I'm not sure they care about the consequences or how it will hurt me.

:) To all the nervous new moms: The most important thing to remember is that you are all that baby has and her/she relies on you! Your baby accepts you as you are and loves you already!! Let love guide your heart and your actions! The house will still be clean or dirty when you are done caring for your baby. Don't forget to eat and take care of yourself!

Hey--that goes for Daddy's too--there are some of us who are stay at home full-time father's in addition to working :)
-
I can admire that you are staying home with your child. Men can be very nurturing also. My post was not intended to be an insult to any stay-at-home dads. Bravo to you! You will treasure the time you give your child!

There's also cafemom.com which is all moms and if anyone is on Facebook, there is an app called Circle of moms and you can chat and ask questions there too. I'm a mom of a toddler and another on the way and I still have tons of questions that pop in my head about this pregnancy or even little toddler things... like my extremely finicky eater!!! So those are some other choices too. I've not been on Momslikeme... I might have to try that one out.

I might check that site out. My daughter will be 2 months old on the 11th and I'm counting the days until she's home.

Thank you, I am a mother of a 5 year old and a newborn and I would love to have others to talk to besides going to my mom about questions (even though I know I shouldn't have questions since I already have one child).
-
That's great, as a sometimes very stressed out mom thanks!
