Title: Offers Question About Telephone Numbers
Post by: DarkDaisuke on April 19, 2009, 12:42:55 pm
Im kind of nervous about giving out my telephone number to these offers do they contact you if you do, or give them out to others? Or is FushionCash safer than that?

yeah Private Phone used to be good to use for a online phone number. It was great that you could even get a local number, But http://www.k7.net is good too....but doesn't look like they give local numbers...so it sucks if an advertiser catches onto that (and some of them are smart like that)...but it's still a good service to get an online voicemail to give to advertisers.

Might try Brring.com, too.  And if you figure out how, there's a whole referral and reward system with them...Just remember to read the fine print on the offers you sign up for!  And good luck!

Does anyone know if there is an online free phone service that can give you a local number?  I do use K7.net which is good but they do not have local numbers for my area.

If you're getting calls from solicitors, interrupt them & inform them you're not interested in what they're offering & you'd like your number removed from their calling list(s).  If it is not, then you will be recording the date, time, ph# of each call after today & they could be held liable for up to $500 per call after your requested stop date.  That usually keeps them from calling back. :)

Well what I do is just give out my cell number so that way they don't call my house.  I get a number of calls on the cell phone, but I would rather have that than on my landline...

The volume of calls I have gotten has been crazy, I think I am going to avoid any offers that want my number from here on out.
