if your puerto rican then you already know, we come in different colors mixed blood to begin with...but if not a black hispanic, or brown prider,seems like we get hated on by all sides...racism is even more so...or your not ethnic enough..or whatever...its so dumb! people are ignorant !And we should teach culture to kids at school because its getting ridiculous! btw there are native americans with slanted eyes too and they are not all asian...and not every tan person is from mexico or india... just saying come on people, you know do some research...your brain is needs more wrinkles, you might learn something

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your post. Are you trying to say that racism lives? If so, I'd agree with you BUT, it's always been this way and ever shall be. I think ALL of us put up with some sort of racism. You don't have to be black, brown, etc. to experience racism. There is also a thing called reverse-racism, of which I think there's plenty in the world today. I don't agree that culture should be taught in schools. Engaging in one groups ethnic studies in our schools alienates the rest of the students (who may be of a different ethnicity) and, in my opinion, increases the chances for racism. There is no one ethnic group who is superior over another. We're all human beings and what we NEED to do is start acting like it.

I'm not PR, but understand its a nationality/ethnicity where there are different racial groups or mixes. So are you saying that you're a white Hispanic who gets hated on by people within your own "ethnic group" but who are of a different racial group? Yes I agree people need to get educated about race since its so important to society we might as well get it right.

I think anymore the raceism is not the so called white people but other races not likeing us. It is ok for them to put slures out there but not us. I don't about the rest of you but i am mixrd blood. Might even say hinze 57. But what the heck as long as someone leaves me a long i will them. god doesn't care what color or race we are as long as we follow the good book.

Yes, that is very true. The schools are the breeding ground for racism, because they push "diversity" down everybody's throats. The politically correct culture nowadays is the real racism, "reverse-racism" as you say.

There will always be racism, regardless of how much education people get..some just will refuse to see anything past the color of someone's skin. Personally, I could care less if someone is Latino, White, Black..pink or purple, it's the actions of those people that I pay attention to. Sad that it cant always be that way with everyone.

well I am not sure what your trying to say but, my grandmother has a spanish hertiage and my grandfather was french. I have a little spanish in me. Some of my relatives are darker then the fair ones. I never thought about mark myself hispanic etc due to the fact when I was growing up that was not a choice on majoirity of forms. Most people think of hispanics comeing from Mexico etc.

I WOULD TEND TO AGREE. RACISM IS EVERY WHERE- PAST AND PRESENT- ITS NEVER GOING TO GO AWAY. I THINK IN MOST COLLEGES HAVE SOME SORT OF WORLD CULTURE CLASS AVAILABLE. BUT AS FOR TEACHING IT IN LOWER GRADE - I DONT THINK THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA. OUR CHILDREN NEED TO WORRY ABOUT BEIN ABLE TO READ AT GRADE LEVEL AND PASS BASIC NECCESARY CLASSES- LIKE LIKE MATH AND SCIENCE AND ENGLISH-FIRST BEFORE THEY START EXPLORING FORIEGN CULTURES.

The republicans and democrats are both the same, both put in power by the money elite, and netiher care about the poor or the middle class. Obamacare is the biggest tax on the middle class ever, bigger than anything the republicans could have dreamed up. I realize that whites are the minority, but why is it that we don't get any of the "minority benefits" that the blacks and Hispanics still claim, even though they are now the majority? The fact is, the white genocide that has been going on for years is working, but people are blind to the fact, because it has been generally non-violent, although still against the rules, according to the definitions of genocide. But it is amazing that people keep voting for the Democrats who are supposed to be saving them, yet their situation never gets any better! I don't even watch the news or think the media is responsible enough to listen directly to them. I do my own research to learn facts. The Republicans is who want more gov. control with their thoughts on wanting to control what a woman can do with their body. The fact that if they so much want to help middle class then why do they always think that helping the rich will trickle to the middle class. Their way has never worked every time they have been in the President seat. Bush for one is a example of a big mistake that no Democrat has ever done, which is screw the country up and have two wars that put us in this problem we are in and it will take 2 more presidents to fix. Democrats are not the best either but they have done less harm. The main people receiving benefits are republican red states where there is a lot of whites. They are getting them benefits in many ways. We wont even speak of the non violent you speak of which is miss leading if you think Blacks have been violent on getting a better life. That is another problem there when you folks think this way and also think your not getting what others get. The only genocide going on is the destruction of your own kind. You choose to be separated from the rest and therefore don,t assimilate along with other races, well most anyway. I know a lot of white people who are good friends and feel that America should be united as one and no one should be superior of another race. The day the Republicans can figure this out is the day they will understand how unity works well with others and not just their own kind. You have a nice Holiday season and maybe for the new year there will be refreshing thoughts. I for one will not be dwelling on this and instead will be putting myself in the position to help others and help myself to be able to live better in America. The main states receiving benefits are not red states. New York has an extremely high welfare rate, and California, which has 1/12th of the country's population, has 1/3rd of the country's welfare population. Neither state is even remotely republican.
If no race should be superior, then why are there such things as quotas, which is basically giving advantages to "minorities", advantages that the real minorities, whites, don't get? Why do Hispanics get positions that they are not qualified for, since they didn't pass the tests, just because there has to be a certain number of "minorities" in all positions? If there was real equality, there would be no quotas, everyone would just have an equal chance to get any job, based solely on thier own efforts and qualifications.

How about you walk in the shoes of a Black man or woman. Slavery for many years. You touch on your race but races before you have been there and done some things. Reverse Racism is only within the white race because now they feel the pain of other's. The slavery may not exist in many ways but trust Blacks feel pain of ancestors. You can forgive but not forgotten. Hispanics (mexicans) have no place for civil rights. Your people only think that land was taken when in reality your people sold your land. You have nothing to benefit of taking back what you think is yours. When it was your forefathers who sold land or either gave it up. Read the History nothing was stolen. I don't even watch the news or think the media is responsible enough to listen directly to them. I do my own research to learn facts. The Republicans is who want more gov. control with their thoughts on wanting to control what a woman can do with their body. The fact that if they so much want to help middle class then why do they always think that helping the rich will trickle to the middle class. Their way has never worked every time they have been in the President seat. Bush for one is a example of a big mistake that no Democrat has ever done, which is screw the country up and have two wars that put us in this problem we are in and it will take 2 more presidents to fix. Democrats are not the best either but they have done less harm. The main people receiving benefits are republican red states where there is a lot of whites. They are getting them benefits in many ways. We wont even speak of the non violent you speak of which is miss leading if you think Blacks have been violent on getting a better life. That is another problem there when you folks think this way and also think your not getting what others get. The only genocide going on is the destruction of your own kind. You choose to be separated from the rest and therefore don,t assimilate along with other races, well most anyway. I know a lot of white people who are good friends and feel that America should be united as one and no one should be superior of another race. The day the Republicans can figure this out is the day they will understand how unity works well with others and not just their own kind. You have a nice Holiday season and maybe for the new year there will be refreshing thoughts. I for one will not be dwelling on this and instead will be putting myself in the position to help others and help myself to be able to live better in America. The main states receiving benefits are not red states. New York has an extremely high welfare rate, and California, which has 1/12th of the country's population, has 1/3rd of the country's welfare population. Neither state is even remotely republican.
If no race should be superior, then why are there such things as quotas, which is basically giving advantages to "minorities", advantages that the real minorities, whites, don't get? Why do Hispanics get positions that they are not qualified for, since they didn't pass the tests, just because there has to be a certain number of "minorities" in all positions? If there was real equality, there would be no quotas, everyone would just have an equal chance to get any job, based solely on thier own efforts and qualifications.
Why is within your Republican Party when they refuse to give up their nannies and grounds keeper. Ask them why they are the ones who employ the most mexicans for these things. Bush kids was raised by a Mexican Nanny who was not legal. So start there and with Reagan who gave 20,000 illegal immigrants amnesty. Then they abused the law and just bring so many in after that. I do not condone Obama giving any illegal anything That I do not like.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your post. Are you trying to say that racism lives? If so, I'd agree with you BUT, it's always been this way and ever shall be. I think ALL of us put up with some sort of racism. You don't have to be black, brown, etc. to experience racism. There is also a thing called reverse-racism, of which I think there's plenty in the world today. I don't agree that culture should be taught in schools. Engaging in one groups ethnic studies in our schools alienates the rest of the students (who may be of a different ethnicity) and, in my opinion, increases the chances for racism. There is no one ethnic group who is superior over another. We're all human beings and what we NEED to do is start acting like it.

How about you walk in the shoes of a Black man or woman. Slavery for many years. You touch on your race but races before you have been there and done some things. Reverse Racism is only within the white race because now they feel the pain of other's. The slavery may not exist in many ways but trust Blacks feel pain of ancestors. You can forgive but not forgotten. Hispanics (mexicans) have no place for civil rights. Your people only think that land was taken when in reality your people sold your land. You have nothing to benefit of taking back what you think is yours. When it was your forefathers who sold land or either gave it up. Read the History nothing was stolen. Americans gained land from your people. Plus it was not yours to sell it was Indian Land. Thieves in the night. White man and Mexican Man stole from the Indians.
