My wife got a boot-leg of it and i was mesmorized how beautiful the music was.
I realize its fantasy but the love story behind it and the final lair when Christine kisses the phantom and he frees them then goes berserk breaking all the mirrors really was great the way the music went with the story.
It truly shows you how music was a gift from our creator and the many emotions how they can have an effect on us.
If you never saw it YouTube can help out.The charactors in the 2004 movie really do it well.

Yeah,I just watched this film not long ago.Great music from Andrew Lloyd Webber, and a fantastic cast.

I have it on DVD (legitatmentaly) and I agree that the music is wonderful.
The story is a presented a little oddly with the way the present is presented in black & white while the past is in color.
But overall it is a treasure.

I think I'd have done away with the B&W flashbacks, personally.

MY fav parts are the last lair as i mentioned earlier and i love it when Christine first goes down to the dungeon with phantom and phantom sings music of the night and Christine faints when she sees herself as his bride

I prefer the original Phantom musical featuring Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford. I also have the 2004 movie on DVD which I haven’t watched for many years. Today was a good excuse for me to dig through some old movies that have been sitting around accumulated with heavy dust. I will watch Phantom of the Opera later if I’m not too tired or I’ll watch it tomorrow. ;D
