I don't have any trouble finding opportunities online and I'm a senior. I found a new one last week.
To be honest, I am quite happy I don't meet the demographics for most surveys, they are boring anyway.
I mean how many ways can they find to ask the same questions? :bs:
But I need to get a cheap laptop or (to search the web for other ideas) fix one of old ones..do you double boot with linux, use ubuntu or Red Hat? Question for OldBuddy!

I just bought an older laptop with no hard drive on Ebay for $21.50, so they are around. It's not here yet, but when I get it I will boot it with a USB stick that has Browser Linux on it and have no fear surfing. If for some remote reason it gets compromised, it takes 10 minutes to burn the stick over again.
I'm young (31) and think there should be more geared towards the "senior" and "middle age" category. I have noticed that many of the surveys are for people my age, or with kids, etc. Anyways, if you have trouble, not only on this site but others as well there are videos, crowdflower tasks ("human intelligence") and various versions of the PTC stuff. Many sites also have daily emails. When on multiple sites, doing different versions of these tasks, the money really adds up. You can slowly add new ones you find until you are satisfied with the time you spend doing it and the money you make.
I feel like a lot of them are based around people with children who live at home and make all the buying decisions. The older you are, or younger, the less likely you are to fit that demographic. I rarely get approved for surveys because I'm a college student. I would love for there to be more for people around my age (esp for TV, movies, video games, music, tech, since we consume so much of it). I would love to have more surveys like those. Being in college, broke, young, with a senior-aged single parent who's unable to work... yeah, it's tough. Eek.
my lap was stolen so I wonder if I could figure out what Ol buddy is talking about.
Surveys represent a small sliver of the opportunities available to make money free, then if you take part of that money and expand into paid areas it gets even better. The money is out there, you just need to know where to look.
