Title: More Opportunities For Seniors
Post by: bostonphil on November 14, 2012, 06:18:19 am
As a senior citizen, I would love to see more surveys as well as offers geared toward seniors. Some of us are still very active and involved as well as enjoying some disposable income. Plus our numbers grow every day.

I agree with you totally.  I am a senior also and I work a regular job, I dance, I sing, I play guitar, I walk, I do lots of things but don't qualify for a lot of surveys.  Don't know if it's my age or my geographical location.  But we need to have more things geared toward seniors.  Yea, older, but not old yet.

I don't have any trouble finding opportunities online and I'm a senior. I found a new one last week.

To be honest, I am quite happy I don't meet the demographics for most surveys, they are boring anyway.

I mean how many ways can they find to ask the same questions?  :bs:

thanks Ol Buddy.  Sure you are more experienced at this than me as I just started end of August.  I'm sure there are opportunities somewhere; I'm just learning all te great things Fusion Cash has to offer.

I am nearing senior - and do very well on this site - in fact, FusonCash is my favorite site so far!  Many ways to earn here - no matter your age.

Many Happy Earnings to ALL!

I am at the middle age of 54.  Not many surveys for us. The only help I have is I had a child late in life that is a teenager.  Every once in a while that helps.

I'm a young senior, ha ha ha!  ;) I am just following in the footsteps of others! I love doing a few surveys now and again, getting a little spoiled though since I used to do them for free. I still do free surveys to give to charity. The other day a lady called with a survey I said "...just this once, 'cause I get paid to do surveys now, lol!..." Check out my webpage and blog (webpage is not up yet, but pre-writing my blog...), she said okay, soon though...that was a dry run. Even though I "...follow in the footsteps of others" I want to look for some new ideas myself. But I need to get a cheap laptop or (to search the web for other ideas) fix one of old ones..do you double boot with linux, use ubuntu or Red Hat? Question for OldBuddy!

"Who Moved My Cheese?", one good FusionCash survey per week makes up for CheapFlights not being here for me. since I have bad demographics as well. I'll have to do a few easy "Human Intelligence" tasks, is that what they call an oxymoron. But one thing for sure is I am learning to write better. Should have been doing this earlier in life. Forum posting is my new journal, as long as I don't over due it!  ;D

"follow in the footsteps of others!"

I just bought an older laptop with no hard drive on Ebay for $21.50, so they are around. It's not here yet, but when I get it I will boot it with a USB stick that has Browser Linux on it and have no fear surfing. If for some remote reason it gets compromised, it takes 10 minutes to burn the stick over again.

I'm young (31) and think there should be more geared towards the "senior" and "middle age" category.  I have noticed that many of the surveys are for people my age, or with kids, etc.  Anyways, if you have trouble, not only on this site but others as well there are videos, crowdflower tasks ("human intelligence") and various versions of the PTC stuff.  Many sites also have daily emails.  When on multiple sites, doing different versions of these tasks, the money really adds up.  You can slowly add new ones you find until you are satisfied with the time you spend doing it and the money you make.

I also believe that the surveys should be allowed to ask questions that will qualify you to make money.

Thanks rueyouge, looked up the videos on youtube. I have seen you can add a few dollars more. Would make getting to $15, faster and add a few referrals and it is possible to start cashing out every month. Thank you!!

I feel like a lot of them are based around people with children who live at home and make all the buying decisions. The older you are, or younger, the less likely you are to fit that demographic. I rarely get approved for surveys because I'm a college student. I would love for there to be more for people around my age (esp for TV, movies, video games, music, tech, since we consume so much of it). I would love to have more surveys like those. Being in college, broke, young, with a senior-aged single parent who's unable to work... yeah, it's tough. Eek.

Surveys represent a small sliver of the opportunities available to make money free, then if you take part of that money and expand into paid areas it gets even better. The money is out there, you just need to know where to look.

Unfortunately they don't allow referral links in this forum and if I just posted without them, there wouldn't be any money to be made. That's why I have the line under my banner in my sigmature.
