Title: Can you do this on a cell phone?
Post by: dsites on November 14, 2012, 07:44:46 am
I have a friend that wants to sign up but she only has a mobile phone. I was just wondering if you can do this only using a phone or do you also need a home based internet connection?

I think she can sign up using her phone, but she won't be able to complete many offers. I know the surveys won't work on a phone and I don't think the paid to click does either. But she may be able to complete all these new telephone offers....depends on if the site will generate her a phone number to call.  :dontknow:

I sure wish we could do this on a cell phone....some days i only have time to use my phone while waiting on appointments and such and no time when i actually get home to get on the computer....stinks...i could do so much more if we could use our phones.

It seems like it would be tough to complete any offers though.

Do the problems with using a mobile phone also apply to WiFi connections?

I'm switching from Comcast broadband to Verizon FIOS which will be in my home, and the service includes a free WiFi connection that I can use with my laptop in locations other than my home.

Never used a WiFi connection so I'm not sure if it's structured in such a way that it is associated with my home ISP connection or not.

Well I do not vote for an app because I would be really expensive to maintain over every operating system, but I do vote for a m.fusioncash.net or in other words a mobile site. That would be

The only thing I've been able to do on a phone is the the daily e-mail. Kind of a bummer on vacation when I can't do other daily stuff, but it is what it is.

You are correct, Paid to Click does not work on phones

I think the issue has more to do with "one member per ISP".  Seems there is some problem with using cell phone towers in that they are contrary to that rule much like community hotspots are.

FC uses IP's to keep track of its members. One IP address per household. In other words you cannot have two people using the same IP.
Also a lot of phones do not support the technology called flash. It is used in a lot of surveys. Best advice is to do all the FusionCash work from a computer that also supports Flash.

I like the idea of a FC app .... I am unable to use a tablet computer because most offers are not supported on androids :sad1:

Wii-fi is only good for about 300 feet from your router. If you get further than that, you would need to change to another Wii-fi connection with a different IP address.

That is an awesome question, please be careful though. Fushion Cash seems legit in all areas but I have recieved many offers for mobile surveys that are not legit. The crash my phone or send insane amount of text messages. There may be some good companies out there thought. Good luck to your friend. :)

That depends on how technical you are.

Agree that the WiFi in my house has a limited range, but the Fios service comes with an "AirCard"? that allows me to use the wireless connection available via telephone towers (G4?).  I was including that service in the term "WiFi" but suspect that is not appropriate.

FC Support said that this type mobile connection might cause problems. I thought the problem was that I would be in conflict with the one user per ISP rule, but it sounds like the problems are more related to being able to actually work the site (ie can't do offers, surveys or the daily click).  Probably can add entries to the Forum but not do the daily stuff.

You can test the IP address by visiting http://whatismyip.com from each service and see if they are different. My bet is they will be.

I used to have an android phone, but I was never able to complete any offers on it. I have a tablet on layway at Walmart that uses android. It would be nice if I could use it on Fusion Cash.
