I wait entil the first week of December to start decorating the house and the second week of December is when i put up the tree(the reason why i wait so long is cause i have a few cats that wont leave the tree alone)
-
A couple of days after Thanksgiving, usually.
-
I don't think we will have a tree this year. We moved into a new house last year and there isn't any room for a tree. That is the only thing I don't like about this house. Maybe we'll think of something. We will have a good Christmas either way.
-
i know my house isn't big either but i have a spot for mine but what about like a table top tree or one on the porch and i no the feeling i got a cat and she used to climb the tree or get on top of the presents but she is getting old now so she doesn't do it any more

I know you all will think I'm crazy but I put my tree up after my sons birthday on Nov 8th. I love it!! My shopping is done and wrapped and now I sit back and enjoy!
-
We put our tree up a few days ago. Its a twenty dollar one from Dollar Store, but looks expensive now. Got lots of tensil on it and lots of decorations.
-
we won't be putting up a big tree this year the puppies are just to much energy so i found a tree you hang on the wall and it has lights and bells on it and we will probably put it up sometime this week --i have not a clue what we are going to do about the presents yet --the kids have very large stockings that they put up hopefully the fur babies won't rip them down!!
-
I usually don't put up a tree or decorate the house for Christmas because I just do not bother about putting one up. But I love to see other Christmas trees and decorations on other houses.
-
Usually the second weekend in December, House gets done first.. then out side, and then the tree..
-
I don't think I will bother decorating my place for christmas this year. I don't have very much christmas decoration anyways. Maybe, I will decorate my place next year if I have more christmas decoration by then.

We started putting the lights up on Thanksgiving and will do the tree when I'm of off on wednesday.
-
We try to put up the tree and decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving. Our tree was up yesterday and we'll finish with decorations today.
-
We usually do all of our Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving but are on hold. It is a family event and my wife just had foot surgery. There is a certain reverance and family camaraderie that goes with putting the decorations on the tree and it just wouldn't be right doing this with out my wife's involvement. My wife should be somewhat mobile in a week or two so I think the rest of the family shall bide it's time, patiently, until Mommy is better. We do have the wine chilling so that the holiday spirits glow a little more heartily! I may put up the exterior decorations this afternoon...after I kill off a little work...gotta keep making cash!
-
thanksgiving or a couple of days afterwards
-
i normally do it this weekend but have been slacking lol, itll be up before dec 25 lol
-
We decorate for Thanksgiving and go cut the tree down around the 2nd weekend in Dec. That way it stays fresh till New Year!
-
i always do on black friday but i have a 1yr old this year and he'll just tear it down and play w/ all the ornaments so i'm waiting a little longer
-
we put up the lights outside sometime before Thanksgiving depending on the weather...pick a nice warm day to do it so we are not waiting till it gets cold to do it...BUT we don't turn the lights on until Thanksgiving night for the first time...then every night till New Years. The hubby says the "holiday police" arrest you if you have on lights too early....In other words...he (and I agree) having lights on too early is just tacky. But when it is time to turn them on...look out...I just know he has a Griswald in his family tree somewhere. LOL
-
we start decorating right after thanksgiving.
-
Usually the first week of December.
-
I put mine up Friday. My sister sent me a new tree for a housewarming gift. I was a little startled when I opened it, but I decided I could try anything once.
-
The day after Thanksgiving the decrations go up and the lights go on. Love to decorate and buy more stuff every year after Christmas when it goes on sale to add to the next year.

I usually put up our tree the 2nd week in December. I am more in the Christmas spirit, then and I am usually doing Black Friday shopping during the Thanksgiving weekend. I am just not ready for Christmas until the first of December. I have to be in the mood to decorate and drag everything out.
-
My tree is up 365 days a year. I just change the decoration for the season or the holiday.
-
I put my tree up the first week in december
-
My house already has decoration for Christmas.
-
Ever since my mom died... Actually, now that I think about it, even before that we really didn't put up a tree. We just kind of stopped once my sister and I got older. Now, we really just don't bother. Seems like too much of a hassle and for me, that's not what the holiday is really about anyway.
-
We usually put our tree up on Thanksgiving and then the rest of the decor over the next few days.
-
we usually wait until the middle of December for the decorations but the Christmas tree we usually try to get it in the first weeks of December
-

;D Hahahahhahaa that's so funny. I have slways liked having my tree up nearing Christmas but I like the decorations to stay up till around the end of January. I used to take care of a pitbull puppy around Christmas, he never messed with it but I guess cats are more curious.... maybe that's where the saying 'curiosity killed the cat' came from. NOT SYING YOUR CATS ARE GOING TO DIE but just making vain connections :) :cat:

I have an artificial tree so I put it together during the week and the the weekend was spent decorating it, the house, and outside.
-
Usually around thanksgiving my mom does, she does not like it too early because she thinks it ruins it so i would say a day after to a week after thanksgiving
-
We normally put up the tree and decorate the house on Thanksgiving day,but this year we had to wait to put up the tree til my son could could home from college. My son and daughter are the ones who decorate the tree for me.
-
The day after Thanksgiving its been a family tradition for 30 years. Now the 4 kids of us in our own homes we still keep it going including my mother.
-
Usually on Black Friday , but this year it will be the first week of december
-
I've never had a set time/date for decorating, but it was usually around mid November that I'd get started. This year though, I didn't put anything up until a few days after Thanksgiving. I didn't put much up this year, and I don't have a tree either. :/
