I  like leftovers, they usually taste better the next day anyway, especially if it's something like homemade chili.        :peace:

We eat leftovers here at our home. Because there is just 2 of us and it is hard to cook small meals. Besides stews, soups and chili is better the next day.  I always put the leftovers in the fridge right after we eat and never leave them sitting out.

It depends on what I cook the day before.

I love left overs. I'm still eating my Thanksgiving dinner. I definitely wasn't going to let it go to waste.

I don't like food going to waste either and since I live alone, I eat left overs often. Sometimes I fix extra on purpose for the next day or put some in the freezer.

I try to. I can be very picky about my food, and a lot of times I hate the way leftovers taste, but I try to only get things that I know will be okay. I don't like wasting food (or money spent on food, for that matter).

I like most food the same day right after it's cooked. I'm not a big fan of left overs, but I eat it because I don't like to waste or throw out good food.

I love leftovers seems like they taste better the next day. I am getting ready to eat some now. I used to have a big family had to cook for 10, now it's down to 4 so don't really know how to downsize the cooking. But it helps me not to cook everyday. I love leftovers.  :peace:

I eat leftovers because I don't want to waste any food when we have so many people in the world starving.  Who can afford to throw food away anyway?  We have gotten so much better with cooking smaller portions so we don't have much left over.  I just carry leftovers for my lunch the next day or two.

Yeah, I almost always eat leftovers. I actually like that I just have to heat it up and eat it without going through the whole process of cooking it again

I love eating Thanksgiving food left overs or pizza left overs.  Sometimes I can eat my mother's cooking left overs or even my own cooking left overs but other wise I really do not enjoy eating left overs all the time.  But I do enjoy eating left over pernil or lasagna that was cooked by my mother.  Those two are the best.  Regular rice and beans, I typically do not like eating the next day.

I can enjoy left overs any day, specially if it's something that tastes better the day after, like turkey. But if we have a delicious meal, and it just so happens that I like the meal, but I don't like the left overs of that particular meal, then it depends if I have a choice or not. If I just woke up, and there's nothing else made, and I'm not in the mood to cook anything, and we're out of easy things to make or snacks, I'd eat left overs that I don't like, from a meal that I enjoyed the night or day before. If I have a choice then I would not eat them.

I have no issues with leftovers - sometimes I specifically plan for leftovers.  Like yesterday I bought Chinese knowing the portions would provide me at least 3 dinners.   ;D

Depends on what it is.  I don't like reheated meat, so I'm not a big fan of meat leftovers.

I like left overs as long as it is not chicken. I don't really like left over trukey either, but I am going to make a turkey salad and see how it goes. Foods that I really like to eat the next day or so are pinto beans, collard greens, pizza and pasta with sauce.

I love leftovers.  Sometimes a sub sandwich actually tastes better AFTER a day or two in the fridge because the ingredients meld together to form a unique taste.

Of course I eat leftovers.

I don't mind at all especially if the meal was a good one the first time.

Leftovers are practical......no prep time the next day.
Leftovers make sack lunch the next day a breeze.

I know people who don't and it blows my mind.  I eat leftovers all the time.  I feel like it is wasting money not to, and that is something I can't do.  I had leftever pizza for breakfast this morning.

we do but i have a friend that refuses to eat things that she cooked the night before so i told her not to cook so much there are to many people out in the world that do not have anything to eat

It's always been a practice in my house to eat leftovers, although I will admit sometimes I have to be creative when serving them.  Kids generally don't like leftovers so, camouflage comes in handy!!!!  Otherwise, I get stuck eating the leftovers by myself!!!!

Yes I eat leftovers.  When you live alone it is difficult to cook for just one person so you will have leftovers and there is no other option but to eat them.  Food costs too much to throw away.

I do, but my husband will not and I end up throwing so much food away, it makes me so mad, that he snubs leftovers, it is hard to make just the right amount, and then I have to throw everything away.

leftovers usually taste better than the original meal because all the seasoning fully permeates the food.

I eat leftovers 90% of the time. There are certain dishes that just do not reheat well (mainly pasta dishes) that I have trouble stomaching as leftovers, but I still eat those on occasion too. I'm not in much of a position to waste food. I hope your friend makes small portions!

I would ask my friend to give me her leftovers.  Many years ago my mother said her sister's family threw away enough food after a meal to feed our little family.  Waste not, want not.

I don't understand people who don't eat leftovers. That's just wasteful. I guess if they really hate eating leftovers though, cooking smaller portions is the way to go.
