Posts in word chains and countdowns don't count towards the total for the paid to post promotion

Thanks for this info, I didn't think the word chains and/or countdowns counted, just good to know for-sure.
Again THANKS !!!   ~~~Jerry~~~

That is good to know .... I didn't think they counted cause it doesn't make sense but had never seen it explicitly stated anywhere

I've had that happen too and assumed that not all posts count since the wording used is 'qualifying posts'. Good to know that is how it works, Thanks.

So what exactly counts as a 'qualifying post'?  I didn't see any further directions in the original post other than don't post to just raise your post count with things like 'hello'.  Understandable.  So what exactly is the criteria?  Number of words? Location? Limit to amount of posts in a day?  I have noticed a few of my posts didn't qualify either and I'm not sure why since they are all 2-3 sentences long.

I'd really like to start doing this on a regular basis but if I am going to spend my time doing it, I would like to know what's going to be counted. FC can we get some clarification?

I was never much of a fan of words games, I couldn't see how they'd qualify.

It's not that hard if you look at it this way; the purpose of a forum is to have open discussions that contribute to a particular topic.
Now if it's a topic of interest your response won't be one word but rather in the form of a sentence, because you’d have more to say.

FusionCash requirements:
A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines.  It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content.  Basically, if you post just to meet the 30 post requirement, you won’t qualify.

It looks like some of your replies were in the word chains and countdown section, which do not count toward your 30 contributory posts. I saw a few topics under there that people had started that belong in the off-topic section of the forum. Make sure before you reply, that you know which section you are posting in. Also, postings in the countdown and promotions section do not count.

I guess they will just look at where you post it and if it has sense. I have same experiences before.

Also posts in the Contests and Promotions section do not count as posts and wont show up. So just remember that section as well as the Word Chain section do NOT count.

I feel your pain and think there is a quirk somewhere.  I am trying to do my posting forum bonus request too.  I have WELL OVER 30 posts and looking back through them I think each one is a qualifying post!  There is only one where I complimented fusion cash administration in a post if that could be a disqualified one, I still have well over the number!  And it says there are only 29 posts for me.  But if you go to the posting again well over 30.  All quite participatory!  Not one word game or short one . . . I am not known for being short that is for sure! LOL  LOL  There is a snag somewhere.  I have logged out and back in . . . can't get it to change or update!

P.S.  Hope your Thanksgiving cold is better!

I agree that something worked!! I just refreshed again and it now says I have 31 posts . . .enough to apply for the bonus!  Though I do have several more than that it is just nice to be able to submit the request and it be accepted instead of an automatic reply not enough posts yet this month.  Thank you FusionCash!

Ahhhh I have figured something out and/or learned something.
I have not done any word games or countdowns this month and do know that they do not count toward the posting bonus.
When I participate in posting in the forum, it is usually because something caught my eye on the account page where it shows the latest posts or something where a post or post subject line catches my eye.  I have never paid any attention to where a post subject is "initiated".  Though I participated whole heartedly in conversations, when I reviewed just now several of them were started (erroneously I guess) in the topic category of "word games and countdowns".   So maybe that is what happened to us . . .  I do like understanding what happens.  Soooooooo I guess for now on, I will look to see where the subject was started so that it does not mess me up on applying for the forum bonus.  And I guess because this "subject" was started in an appropriate category I made my number in "appropriate" categories!  LOL  LOL  So thanks charmaine56! LOL

Ok, thank you for some of the clarification.  None of this is mentioned on the official forum bonus post with all of the directions.  I think a few of my posts were in the contests and promotions section and that's why they weren't counted.

Wow, that's kinda weird. I never heard of certain posts just not counting. Wow.
