I know he was one of the best and I will miss him.  Thankfully we will always have his music to cheer us up!!!!  May he rest in peace and make beautiful music in heaven!!!!

Take Five...How well I remember.  That tune is etched in my memory along with memories of Beatniks and coffee houses, Thelonius Monk, Charlie Byrd, etc. etc. ....RIP Dave Brubeck

Listened to a full 90 minutes of Dave and his quartet on Thursday night.  He will be missed, but he left a lot of gorgeous music behind.
