I would suggest that you preview your message if you're going to use a color other than black. Not all of them are easily read on a green background.
My husband and I don't exchange Christmas presents because we have so many others to buy. It's worked for us for 46 years.

A stocking full of love...with some coal thrown in by default because there's no way he hasn't been naughty. ;) lol
We don't celebrate it.

We didn't buy cards either. We really don't celebrate xmas anyhow, but we do accept cards and greetings from friends and family who choose to send them. After all the intentions from all the folks are good.

We bought some special gifts during black Friday together for ourselves. But we always try to get a little something for each other that is a bit of a surprise. I got his a book he has been wanting.

My love. It is better to give than to recieve. Christmas isnt about presents.
-
We are getting a new freezer together for all the produce we raise in the garden and all the fish we catch.

We always buy each other little gifts and one bigger gift. This year we both need new phones so we are buying each other the new Galaxy phones. It works as a gift as it will be wrapped up and everything but it is something we both need anyways. Either way everyone does it how they see fit and for us, this is how we like it :)

We just decided to go looking around and get something we really wanted this year, neither one of us need anything really so who knows maybe we wont get anything??

We already exchanged the gifts. My husband got me a nook HD (with help from FC money) and I got him a backpack he wanted to wear when riding his motorcycle (bright orange) and extra memory for his nook tablet.

This is the time I buy my husband new under garment and he need some new church shoes. If I don't buy him these things he never will. I see him walking around with holes in this tee shirts and under garments and sock so I buy new ones at this time.

We promised to go a little easier on the expenses for each other and focus on the kids a bit more. I got my significant other a new IPhone, three cd's to put on it, earrings, a scarf and a gift certificate for her favorite boutique. This all in the face of two kids that, with music lessons/tennis lessons/soccer/lacrosse/band/ and private school is pretty good. The kids/significant other have a trip, at least, every other month. My wife is encouraging me to go and party with some friends in Vegas for my fiftieth but I don't want to miss work, party that hard and spend the money. If she only realized that the money we spend could be applied to the motorcycle that I have wanted my entire life.

I cannot afford it, she said she got us some stuff. I don't even want christmas
