Apple is building one factory in the US as a trial to make iMacs here. They are spending $100 million which is one tenth of one percent of their total cash on hand. Do you think this is enough or do you think they should do more?

If there is a possibility this could create a need for more factories in America, I hope they can get what they want from this trial.

They should make all their products in the USA and bring jobs back to the US.

I not sure on the expense and details but anything that will help to create jobs for people sounds like a great idea :icon_rr:

All I know is if someone Apple or whoever is building a factory in the U.S. versus china or somewhere that is a good thing. Maybe we will have a couple of jobs for people in this country.

I don't care how much or how little they spend to set up a factory as long as they will be providing jbs, All plants that are overseas need to be doing it. I think i is very wrong to have comapnies overseas instead of here. They just need to tell the unions to stay out of their business. that is one of the reasons they moved overseas.

Good but I imagine they will be offering lower wages and less benefits than people would expect. The price of the product would probably go up as well.

I didn't know anything about that! Interesting....to look into!

I think it would be good giving us jobs boosting our economy i dont know but it would be nice to try it out

Not to be totally rude (more jobs here would definitely be a plus), but do you suppose the factory will have the nets like the one in China? If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's kind of a shocking story. I just found out about it and was kinda blown away.

I think they should do a lot more since we need to bolster this economy and they have the means to do so.
