I've been having lots of problems with browsers lately, I was a Fire Fox Believer up to this past weekend.. It seemed to get very slow at loading and giving me lots of grief.. So then I switched over to IE.. and ended up downloading the latest.. IE10.. Then I had more issues like on some forums I belong to, would not allow me to use my enter key.. I know you are thinking I have a virus.. I check it almost everyday with Norton.. and then let Norton do it another time.. So anyhow I am now using Google Chrome, and am having NO issues.. Not sure how to completely work it yet.. but so far I like it..
What do you use? and Why?

I use Firefox, simply because I can customize it to my liking with add-ons and plug-ins of my choice. It warns me if there's a website I'm about to enter that is less than trustworthy and Firefox will leave the decision to enter up to you.
I see you use Norton as your anti-virus. I use AVAST!. It's completely FREE, unless you choose the paid version, and works better than any anti-virus I've ever "paid" for. My personal opinion of Norton is that it's not very good at all. I also use Malwarebytes, which is also a FREE program to use (not just "download"). If there's any trojans, etc., lurking on your computer, it'll pick it up. Basically, everything anti-virus and anti-malware that I use on my own computer was FREE, and I haven't been bothered with viruses or trojans in YEARS.

I like firefox coz I like that u can change ur broswer design. :)

Mozilla Firefox is the best browser. There are a lot of things you can do with it. If you had some problems with it, probably the network was down at that time or the computer you were using was not working properly. Try again. Also download the latest version on that computer. Google: Mozilla Firefox latest version/free download and see what is available. Explorer browser is already using version 9. Mozilla Firefox also changes versions all the time. Do not forget to upgrade your browsers.

I just recently bought a new laptop. It has Windows 8 and came with IE 10. Some sites seem to not be able to handle IE 10. I also have Chrome and I use this one more than IE 10.

I use Firefox on Linux (not Windows) and it's simple to Google for "Speed Up Firefox" to solve that problem. My biggest reason was to use X-Notify plugin, which is now available for some other browsers too. I have many Gmail accounts and it checks them all at once.

I usually use Firefox as well. But, last week it started shutting down randomly. I am not sure what happened. I used Google Chrome for a couple days, then decided to try Firefox again and nothing has gone wrong since. Maybe it was just a bad day? I am not sure. I do like both Firefox and Chrome better than Internet Explorer, or IE10.

I use Firefox with my PC. I have windows 7. I love Firefox and have no problems with it. I find that making sure I clean my computer with ccleaner everyday helps my computer run more efficiently. I use the free version and it even cleans the registry. I don't use an anti virus program. I don't download anything that I don't know about and windows 7 monitors things like that anyway.

I consider using Google Chrome its more simple in its own ways even though it uses a lot of your Memory to run it.
-
I use chrome or firefox.
-
I use Firefox and IE. Like Firefox better because of the better design.
-
I use firefox for pogo only. IE for somethings like my son's online class curriculum and I use Google for other things as my main browser.

Thank you for all your inputs.. I have always loved Fire Fox except for the last little bit.. Think I'm going to uninstall it, and download the latest, and give it another try.. Thank you again everyone.. and Merry Christmas to YOU all and your families..

I use Maxthon browser, along with the free version of Microsoft Securities! I really like some of the
features of Maxthon!

I have used Firefox for years. I stay away from the beta versions though. I have Chrome downloaded since everyone's on that bandwagon, but the layout is too aggravating and I'd rather stick with what I know.

I use Firefox for most things but I do typically do the daily surveys on here on IE
-
I use Google Chrome. It seems to work better for me than anything that I have tried.
-
I also have experienced browser problems trying to complete tasks on FC, using both IE and Firefox. When you switched to Google Chrome, did you uninstall either of the others? If not, does that slow down your pc functions to have several browsers installed?
-
Does Firefox open the pages quickly for you? I get so frustrated having to wait.

I use FF, Chrome and IE, interchangeable in that order. Sometimes things work better on a different browser for some reason. Sometimes an add-on on a browser may create conflicts that in another browser that very same add-on wouldn't cause. All things are not created equal, so I switch between them as I find it fit. I've used pretty many browsers in my life, including Netscape back in the day, Opera and Safari. I have found that those three I currently use satisfy all my needs, therefore I do not need all of the others. I must add that the main reason why I use a combination of the three is due to certain offers crediting in some browsers but not others. If I were to use the browser exclusively to surf the web and not worry about offers crediting, I am certain one browser will suffice. In that case, I'd go Firefox first, and if at some point it lags, crushes, or freezes continuously, then it becomes a matter of personal preference. If I like my current browser and will like to keep it, I'll try everything to bring it back to a working state. If the fix and/or problems are not up to me, and cannot be fixed by me, and the developers won't do it, then I'll switch to a different browser in a heart bit. Which brings me to my second choice, Chrome. and IE would be my third.

I use Chrome and FF, IE sucks really bad and I avoid it as much as possible, I do not like it. It slows down my computer and freezes up on me all the time. Chrome I like the best but I am good with Firefox, I use all 3 of them to get credits from videos, sometimes it pays on 1 and not the other or it pays again in another one.

I use IE8. I have used Firefox in the past and found it to be faster and easier to operate. The only problem I find with FF is that you have to download add-ons for just about everything. FF was popular at work, where I worked in Data Systems. Like Oldbuddy stated, I find it easier if you are running a linux system then a Windows system when working with FF. Chrome seems to work OK also but, seems to take alot of memory!!

I have been using Firefox for a long time. But I also like Google Chrome. Never use IE. :peace:
-
I've never had any problems with FireFox and have used it for years.
It's definitely my preferred browser, but then, like I said, I've never had any problems with it before.
-
I use IE, but just out of habit. I see Firefox has good reviews from the posters.
-
To me, FF is faster than IE.
-
I use Chrome also. It works fast and doesn't have the problem of Microsoft Explore. Super stable yeah
-
I use FireFox and I absolutely love it. I do like Google Chrome too but I prefer FireFox because of specific add-ons I use.

I was told I needed the google chrome or firebox for my online school blackboard, but I don't like either browser and have been suffering through it on internet explorer 9, but because of that yellow bar on the bottom of the page, I think I am going to get rid of it, it is causing me to lose all kinds of money during surveys ect. i am so upset right now though, because I finished a survey got done, and somehow clicked on a continue button to go further, then it had a page that would accept no answer no matter what you chose, anotherwards, it was messed up, so after way over 30 minutes I end up with nothing and I am very upset over it. I could of been doing my homework.
-
I get kicked out of surveys when using IE; I will be part way through the survey then get a screen that says, "Internet Explorer cannot display this web page." That has happened with Firefox also but not as much. It is very frustrating.
-
I go between Firefox and Chrome. I was using Chrome for awhile then I wasn't being credited on this site so I switched back to Firefox. It's working great and I can use the FC toolbar.
