Did you REALLY think the world was going to end?
-
No, I continue with my daily activities and put my faith in God hand.
-
You would be surprised at the number of people who really believed in the predictions that the Mayans made. This prediction came from the fact that the Mayans ended their calendar on 12/21/2012. People assumed that this would be our last day in existence. I personally believe in God and his promises the to man kind. No man knows the day or the hour that this world is going to end.

I logically didn't believe it would but I felt compelled to still cherish the moments as if they could be the last. To often it is easy to take for granted the little things.

December 23rd: still here. Mostly glad of it; would have hated for the world to end while I was getting over a cold!
-
No, but I know girl who was really scared about it. Lmao
-
December 21st was my birthday-
Happy Birthday to me and the World made another day!
-
hell no! i didnt think it was. i went on as normal and was thankfully for still being here.
-
I didn't believe it all. No one knows the day or the hour of this earth's demise. I don't get why people would be frightened about it in the first place. lol
-
No, I did not believe it would.
-
no or I would have taken the day off from work. I did see some people doing some idiotic things though. The "end of the world" parties that got some arrested, those that quit their jobs to party all week, quite a few that spent a fortune on supplies to stockpile (and food for "stress-eating" that week as they told me) and a few that maxed out their credit cards thinking they would never have to pay their bill. ???

Oh1 That is such a shame! People can be such fools..... :bs:
-
i think something will happen some day that will change the earth......but not in our lifetime...
-
My daughter was kind of worried about it and I told her she shouldn't worry, I did not think it was going to happen and I told her if it was going to end, we wouldn't be here to know about it anyway so why worry.
-
No, but it was really annoying to watch everyone else freak out.
-
No not at all - although I am sure there were a lot of folks who did and the way I looked at it is that nothing is gonna happen that isn't intended to happen. I'm just happy to have some more life to live.
-
I really didn't believe their calendar was correct. The Mayans beliefs were pagan and therefore they didn't have an understanding of God's plan for the world to end. Only the Lord knows when he is going to end this world. That's what I have believed for years and will continue to always believe. I didn't even think about it on the 21st. I just went on about my day as usual.

Okay, since it's now December 26th and this post is still up here, let me say that I think the world DID in fact end on December 21st.
-
yea we made it past it, nothing has really changed as far as i can tell

I watched a few shows they had on TV and most of them stated that it wasn't about the world ending but a new beginning- like the end of an era and the start of something new. That's the way I was looking at it.
