Title: Santoku Cooking Knife
Post by: rainman306 on January 01, 2013, 02:16:18 pm
Has anyone done the Santoku cooking knife offer?  Do you really get the knife for free just having to pay shipping and handling?  Is this an offer to sign up for a free trial you have to cancel later or are there any checkboxes during the offer completion you need to keep unchecked to avoid being charged for additional things?  Thanks for the responses in advance.

The p&h is just to try the knife. They will bill you btw $35-$40, if you don't return it.

You don't have to return it. They will keep billing you if you forget to cancel their service.

Thanks for the responses and info.  I am leaning against this offer now.  Has anyone been able to do this offer and avoid any billing and costs other than the initial shipping and handling?

There's a membership service involved once you order and will keep billing you if you forget to cancel their membership. Just to let everyone know.

Who is the membership for (what company)?  If you return the knife and or cancel the subscription in time, can you only have to pay the original Shipping and handling charge?

I think you keep the knife but you will continue to get other knives which you will have to pay for if you don't cancel after you get the free knife.

You are right. I stand corrected. Thank-you

I did this offer & I still have the knife. You do not send it back. It is yours to keep. It's like any other membership/subscription offer. You must either cancel your membership/subscription after you receive the free item or do nothing to get more knives in the future that you will be charged for. Either way, the free knife is yours. It's the same for the skillet offer too & a few other offers like this that I have completed over the years. Read the directions carefully & take a screenshot of the terms & write all of the info down so you won't forget anything.   :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Thanks for all the responses and information.  I may try this offer but I will be very careful to insure I know when and how to cancel if I want too.
